Olivi is a home away from home but also a farming experience with fresh produce, an olive grove, fruit trees, goats, alpacas, dorper sheep, geese, and hens. A highlight is Martha a kelpie who delights all visitors with her gentle and friendly nature. Olivi is situated in paradise - Wilson’s Promontory is close by. So much to see and experience. The hosts - Karen and Marty are personal guides. The farm produce breakfast is included and is scrumptious and dinner can be provided with the hosts for a nominal fee. Our dinner was definitely the highlight. Karen and Marty are fabulous cooks and are very friendly and charming hosts.

We don’t stay often in B&Bs—only when a place feels truly special and offers the kind of experience that lets you connect with a country in a more intimate way. Olivi was exactly that, and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Karen and Marty, two of the kindest, most generous people we’ve met on our travels. Conversations flowed easily—engaging, thoughtful, interesting. They create the kind of atmosphere that makes you instantly feel at home. There is a rare attention to detail that makes you feel genuinely cared for. The property itself is a charming farm, full of character and soul, surrounded by nature and adorable animals. Our room was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the dinner. What a feast—crafted with ingredients from their own land, beautifully prepared by Karen and absolutely delicious. It was one of those meals that stays with you, not just for the taste, but for the care behind it. And also the great atmosphere and discussions sharing it, paired with amazing wine served by Marty. Olivi is perfectly located just minutes from Wilsons Promontory National Park, making it ideal for hikes, beaches, and stunning views. We did Mt Oberon and Whisky Beach, can only recommend! The area itself feels untouched and authentic—wide open landscapes, peaceful, and refreshingly non-touristy. Leaving wasn’t easy. We felt a genuine connection to the place and the people. We stayed 2 nights and got to know each other, we had the best of time. We can only recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone seeking something true, warm, and memorable.

Karen, Marty & Martha were absolutely fantastic hosts for our weekend away at the Prom! Their hospitality was unmatched and they were so incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. They had so many tips for our trip and Karen even helped book our Wilson’s Prom Cruise. The breakfasts were iconic and the dinner was just beautiful, with even better company! Would definitely recommend their b&b for a true country style stay. Thanks again Karen, Marty and of course the star of the show Martha!!

Sorry Karen & Marty .. we did see the guest book, but we both have terrible handwriting and wanted to make it clear to everyone how AMAZING our stay was and it be legible. - Even 5 min conversation with Karen will give you more information about area than spending days of planning your trip with Google. - Very inviting breakfast with exceptional coffee and a fantastic view. - Very comfortable bed and we loved the linen. - Bathroom is next level modern. - Property is nothing short of serene. It’s not often we would genuinely stay somewhere twice, but we can’t wait to visit the area again to see everything Karen and Marty suggested and of course, stay at Olivi.

Olivi is a beautiful B&B close to Wilsons Promontory. It’s set on a peaceful rural property with sea views. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It’s very quiet and private. We chose to eat in on our first night and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The 2 breakfasts we ate at Olivi were superb with much of the produce grown and cooked on the property. Karen and Marty are wonderful hosts, who made us feel very welcome. They go out of their way to provide local recommendations and information on what to see and do. We would highly recommend staying here.

The location was excellent. The bed and breakfast is a charming farm minutes outside of Wilson's Promontory, where you can see Kangaroos, wallabies, emus and so much more. You are actually closer to the Park's main wildlife viewing area at the bed and breakfast than if you stay in the park. The scenery is incredible. Karen and Martin were great hosts. Every morning breakfast was excellent, and they gave great suggestions on what to do in the park. Karen went out of her way to help us on multiple occasions both before and during our stay. The room was great with a wonderful view. Karen offers to cook dinner that can be booked in advanced. The star of the stay was Martha, the dog. She was so friendly and extremely well behaved.

Our visit was too short. We would have loved to stay longer.

From the minute you arrived at this beautiful property, you instantly felt relaxed with the warmth of the hospitality. Breakfast was delightful as was our room. The most comfortable sleep in our 3 weeks away. Rural setting with water views and I loved feeding the animals. We chose the option to dine with Marty and and Karen. A delicious meal with lots of home made additions, including the gin, was enhanced with the great company. This is the type of B and B where you arrive as strangers and leave as friends. We cannot speak more highly of our two nights there and hope one day to return.

Everything was perfect

Wonderful hospitality and beautiful surrounds. We only had two nights at Olivi and I wish it had been a month! Karen, Marty, gorgeous Martha all made us so welcome and very well fed. Fantastic dinner and brekkies. Our room was stunning, looking over Bass Strait, watching amazing sunrises from the pillows. A real treat to also walk with Annie around the property and through the olive grove during feeding time for the goats, chickens, geese, alpacas, and sheep. What a stay. The best.

Had a wonderful long weekend and celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Olivi; perfect in every way. Karen and Marty are generous and kind hosts, and also great company! Karen is an amazing cook, and breakfasts and dinners were superb. The room is stylish, spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and bathroom, lots of room to put things away, and a beautiful sea view. Martha the kelpie is utterly adorable and it was lovely to have lots of farm animals around too. Ten minutes drive to the Prom and 20 to Foster and Fish Creek for shops and the pub. A home away from home in the best possible sense; absolutely recommended.

Could not fault it!

The owners and hosts Karen and Marty were welcoming, warm and friendly. The property is set off the road and has lovely views of their open garden and beying to the sea. The place is filled with goats, chickens, 2 alpacas and their lovely dog. The seaview room was very comfortable and had a place right outside the room where we were able to sit and enjoy the peace and views. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and had lots of hot water in the shower. Marty went out of his way to let me use his tablet to link it to the telly so I could watch the tennis at the Australian Open when the connection was fluctuating as a result of the extremely strong wind which affected the signal. The dinner that is an extra cost, if guests wished to dine in was positively delicious and we had 3 dinners, all varied and healthy. The pre-dinner canapes were scrumptious and varied. Karen and Marty make mostly eerything themselves and it was obvious from the taste. Karen catered extremely well to our dietary restrictions and requirements. The breakfast of fluffy omelette or fluffy scrambled eggs we had for 4 mornings was heavenly. We have not had better. 5 stars and many more. We also enjoyed home made elderflower gin as well as home made rum. All divine. We will definitely return to stay with them if we visit Wilsons Promontory again. Marty and Karen also gave us lots of ideas of walks as well as suggestions for things to do and places to visit when we had inclment weather.

There was really nothing except a personal quibble. We would have liked a king size bed and a little more space in the bathroom for our toiletries.
