Location central to shops -cafes & sightseeing locations Spotlessly clean , including the lush garden surrounds & a comfortable bed -waking up to hearing birds chirping set the tone to a bright start to my day The room had plenty of light during the day & light switches for night if required, Unlike some hotels that only have dim lighting & make it difficult to see what is in your suitcase Being greeted by Mille ,the Golden retriever “rescue “ pup was a highlight as she jumped up with her front legs on reception desk -tail wagging with a big puppy grin-WELCOME TO TARRA MOTEL!!! Candice (owner) exuded a genuine feeling of care. making sure her guests had a comfortable stay I will definitely stay at Tarra Motel again

The room by itself and bathroom were really clean. Staffs were really nice. The location was extremely good, close to everything. There were so much to like about the place.

Everything was good or perfect, I would just say some blankets and the TV were a bit older than I liked. Were not issue as for the blanket there were tones of clean sheets and everything else was super clean and shiny include, beds, sheets, towels. The TV was okay as we are not TV people, but we would like to watch something on Netflix and the TV was basic old TV and does not have APPs or something

Staff/owner was extremely friendly and extremely helpful when asking questions... eg: great place to eat etc. Location was perfect and very close to both of the best venues for meals. It was lovely and quiet, car park outside your door. Room wasn't large but is all we needed it for was sleeping. There was a bar fridge, tea, coffee etc. I'm very fussy when it comes to bathrooms and this bathroom had been renovated and was sparkling clean and shiny... couldn't fault it for anything, even the water flow was great. Had no idea that there was such a fantastic motel in a small country town!!!

Only con was the tv, gave up in the end... but sure wouldn't stop me from staying there again!

We came to stay for a friends wedding and it ticked all the boxes. Clean, comfortable, affordable and quiet. Had everything we needed , good shower pressure, and friendly service . Love can drive straight up to the door makes so easy to get luggage etc. ample car parking. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool. You couldn’t ask for anything more for the money, Highly recommend!

There was nothing we didn’t like. Obviously is an older style motel, and I booked the budget room but that was okay I liked the character and was still so clean and well maintained even though older.

Tarra Motel is a very good place to spend the night. Would have been happy to stay longer. The room was quite spacious and the curtains were heavy enough to block out the morning sun. I am not a morning person. The bathroom was a pleasant surprise due to its size. Some newly built motels have such small bathrooms that you can barely move around - but this bathroom was very spacious. Nice to have a two-seater couch in the room - a very nice addition. Host was super friendly as well.

Minor point: I prefer quilts to blankets. However, my husband prefers blankets - so he liked that. We usually bring our own coffee as well, as you cannot be sure what brand you may get in the room. Highly recommend The Bean Peddler in the main street of Yarram for excellent coffee.

I had a perfectly mid-century room which suited my love of this period. I have not slept this well for weeks. The staff were very helpful. You can easily walk to the small town for cafes and shops, or drive to the coast for relaxing views, fishing or boating activities.

There were some noisy corellas in the evening, but they didn't stop my sleeping.

LOcation was good. Perfect that it was right next door to the Caravan Park where some of my family were staying. Easy access to them for meals etc.

When we came back to the hotel on New years eve at around 11 pm, there were no lights indicating the motel so I turned into the Caravan park by mistake. More lights at night are needed.

Quick prices response - Good in town center - Convenient Super Market & Car wash - So good for Family.

The Toilets Taps/Shower needs upgrading ( Weater too cold or Extreme Hot ) - The Bed Cover Comforter are very old. Motel Advertising Signage are cover by Trees. Front Drive-in Cross over Concrete must be Pour over with Entry sign. Hope it helps 🙏

Location great with a short walk into town. Owners are lovely and helpful - bonus is Millie the golden retriever AKA secretary! Really comfortable bed, excellent hot and strong shower. A great place to stay if riding the Rail Trail. We did Foster to Yarram then returned the next day!

The birds on the first day and night making such a noise second night not to bad , could do with some more cutlery as there was a microwave but no plates or bowls
