Trish, Emilie the amazing reception staff and Katie in the kitchen for Breakfast were amazing and lovely and supportive of my needs. If ever I need accommodation in Gippsland again I will stay here

We were there for 10 days and only basic kettle and coffee making facilities were available. Would have liked to book a room with kitchen facilities but as it's not a set price per night it made the stay expensive so this for us to book was not a affordable option, maybe include a microwave at least in each of the cheaper options so healthy food options can be had, I was not interested in fast food as I was there playing the Table Tennis National Championships.

I was very impressed with the excellent service from this hotel. I had accidentally booked the wrong night, and when I called to exchange my dilemma, the gentleman not only arranged for the date change, I was also given a free upgrade! The room was lovely, spacious, clean, nice bath and we had a free bottle of wine provided. The room had a nice view and the bed was comfortable. There was also a fabulous bar and dining area with attached cinema and bowling if you wanted those. The big stand out was friendly and attentive staff and attention to small details in the housekeeping were a plus too.

Awesome! Can’t fault anything at all as staff I came across from check in (Emilie) to check out were helpful, accommodating and friendly. Hotel is newish, very clean room, well finished with nice design touches, convenient room lay out set in a great location- walking proximity to the commercial district with Reading Cinemas attached to the Hotel. Outside noise does not permeate the rooms at all - slept well. Unexpected complimentary snacks and drinks in room. This will be my “favourite go-too” when needing to stay in this town. Free parking in hotel basement.

The staff were all lovely and helpful. The room was spacious enough overall. The coffee machine in the room was great!

The beds were so hard!! They needed a soft mattress topper as it was really difficult to sleep. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work and it got very hot when someone had a shower. There needed to be a selection of coffee pod brands; Starbucks coffee pods are terrible! The carpark should be lockable with a garage door so only guests can access it. We were concerned about our car being broken into with all the 'Leave Your Car At Your Own Risk' signs everywhere.

Location and parking super easy. My first stay and only 1 night. Very convenient to have a bistro downstairs (with variety of options on menu) as I was a late arrival. Similarity, the on site breakfast suited my travel schedule. Room was much larger than expected. Great to have easy access to a clean steam iron and a good sized board that fits trousers. Complimentary in-room beverages appreciated.

Thinking the room was too cold, I inadvertently turned a/c on only to find I couldn’t turn it off. As reception was closed and there was no ‘how to’ info, I solved it by switching the a/c fuse off overnight.

Standard hotel, clean and good facilities

Room is dating - our room specifically, 202 had significant water damage on the skirting and architraves exiting the bathroom, showing potentially significant water egress from the ensuite. Additionally, was awoken and very disturbed by the room next to me's digital door lock alarm which was going off non stop on night one. I tried to reach reception, but they were closed, then had to go to the neighboring restaurant to ask for help, which was received.

The property was great. Clean and rooms were spacious enough. The bowling and restaurant attached were great. The staff were all super friendly.

The cot I got for my 1 year old was so wobbly. Cute bedding. The pillow was a cushion I think, so small in size but super thick and chunky and hard. So I swapped it for one of my pillows which was better, but because of the wobbling and the squeaking noise my son decided it was a rocker (it literally swayed that much) so took him out and he slept in bed with us. I highly recommend updating the cot to something more safe (I’m not fussy, a cots a cot, but this was very structurally unsafe)

The whole experience was very positive for the most part. I had the best sleep I have had in a very long time. The presentation of the property was clean, bright, exceptionally comfortable, and quiet.

As a person who uses walking aids. I did not like having to ask for assistance with my bags. At the risk of a fall, I battled independently, on departure, rather than, ask yet again, for help. I had prearranged assistance, yet it wasn’t automatically considered. Regrettably, my evening meal, of steak, was average. Certainly compared, to the quality of the local product, I am able to purchase, when I am in my home town. The salad was swimming, in it’s dressing. The meal satisfied my hunger, but not much else.

The room was very clean and neat. The bed was super comfortable. Reception was friendly and helpful. We couldn't initially find the remote to the telly and they were quick to find a replacement. Location was easily accessible. The onsite restaurant was nice and affordable as well.

We did note that you could hear the outside noise from other stayers but I guess we're just used to staying at a hotel next to an airport and the rooms are super sound proof.

This is a lovely hotel that feels and smells brand new every time we visit. Beautifully clean, wonderful staff that make you feel welcome, a gift of wine water and snacks on arrival, a lovely breakfast and delicious coffee. Close to shops and with easy to access undercover parking. A picture theatre next door and the fabulous Butter Factory attached. Stay here! You won’t regret it.
