The list is endless - the room was furnished beautifully, the bed was an ACTUAL king bed, not just two mattresses pushed together like most places do! The private court yard made the place feel so luxurious, and the spa under the moonlight was so peaceful. The TV was the perfect height for watching a movie in bed, and there is a wicked pizza place 2 minutes away (Gippy's woodfired pizza) that topped off the perfect night in. We brought our two dogs, and they had a ball running around in the field next door each morning and evening. Lastly - the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Could not speak more highly of this place. We will definitely stay here again! PS Enjoy the photo of my dog after putting his nose in the pond. One minor thing that did not impact us, but the bed was quite high up. I'm 5'6 and I had to jump and climb onto the bed, so it may not be suitable for someone with any physical/mobility-related impairments.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Motel 3858, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and friendly service provided by Grant. They made check-in quick and easy, and their hospitality truly set the tone for the rest of my stay. The room itself was spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The kitchenette had everything I needed, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the espresso maker & the choice of light or full fat milk! and the high-quality bedding - the bed was definitely the most comfortable bed we’ve ever stayed in when travelling, 10/10! One of the highlights for me was the outdoor area. My room had a private courtyard, which was perfect for unwinding after a day of travel. The hammock swing and pond with the little fish swimming was so chill! The unique feature of the spa-bath outside was such a treat—so relaxing to enjoy a soak under the stars. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, and the peaceful, quiet environment made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. The local bakery made the best sausage rolls & pies! We also had a fabulous breakfast at the local little quick cuppa van which is fab in the mornings! I highly recommend Motel 3858 to anyone visiting the area. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, service, and a beautiful setting. I will definitely stay here again!

It was super cute!! Decorations were rustic modern, and everything was super comfy. Loved the idea of the private oasis away from home! We had 2 rooms, one with a spa and the other with the two tubs. We enjoyed both and had a great night looking at the stars, relaxing and catching up.

We have stayed at numerous places across Victoria, as we like to do different bike rides. The accommodation at Motel3858 must sit in my top three and the photos just don’t do it justice. Everything is top level luxury with everything you could need catered for. The baths outside are also fantastic. Beautiful place and will definitely return!

For my partner and I it was the massive comfy lux bed and that beautiful rainforest garden outside 😍 just stunning

The only thing I think needs to be addressed is there is a pond around the first step when you go outside. Just gotta make sure you don’t miss the step otherwise you may bust your ankle. Otherwise I could not fault the room. I was blown away.

I absolutely loved my stay here! There were so many nice surprises everything was way better than I expected. The place was super clean, comfortable, and the room design was really stylish. The surroundings were lovely, and the hosts were so sweet and kind. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Motel I would highly recommend. Loved our stay, rooms are just amazing! Beautiful pool or so if you wish to have a dip. Super funky and for sure will stay again one day soon.

Frog at night hahahh but you can't help it with a frog!!!! Just one of those nature things. We have our own pet frog at home but doesn't call for a mate all night :-)

The beds were the best , we felt like we were in the perfect Romantic setting , our little dog had an out door area to investigate. The Jacuzzi was just amazing pre set to a beautiful relaxing temperature.

Beautiful decor. Gorgeous renovations done and made everything looks brand new. Great location. Friendly and hospitable host. Made us feel welcome and provided great services. I would highly recommend! Pet friendly! That's always a plus.

This property was so well styled, comfortable and cosy! Honestly such an underrated property, the enclosed outdoor area felt like a sanctuary. The bed was super comfortable and all amenities were met. A place not to be missed.
