Comfy beds. Lots of space in the room

Not enough sockets near the beds. Found one that was next to over bed reading light but was impossible to use with uk plug adapter as there wasn't enough room. Not keen on only one sink in the room. Looked like a bathroom sink in kitchen area. No separate sink in actual bathroom. Had hoped to use the pool but it had lots of leaves and dirt in. Website said we would be able to buy breakfast there but when we contacted staff this was not possible. They suggested we try local cafe but when we arrived it was only doing take away drinks from a hatch and no food.

Maffra Motor Inn was a comfortable stopover for a visit to Maffra. As it was very hot, we found the air conditioning was excellent. Our beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the extra pillows supplied in the room. As a couple we quite liked that the vanity basin was outside the bathroom. It meant one could be having a shower or using the toilet while the other could be cleaning teeth or doing make-up. The location is good being close to town where there were a variety of food options available and a Woolworths supermarket.

If your given a tea towel and plates, cups etc it would be helpful if they gave you some dishwashing liquid to wash up with. Electric blankets on the beds would good as Maffra can get quite cold in winter. Update the room & area details in the room folder as many details were incorrect & closed years ago. Hotels that were recommended boarded up etc.

The location was really convenient for my purposes. And the ease of access into the room was really good, with key code access. Bed was comfy. And it was nice to curl up with the complimentary Netflix after a long day of working.

It would be great to have a couple of plates or bowls in the room. There was a microwave but I couldn’t eat my food as I didn’t have a plate. Also the lighting above the mirror by the bathroom is not conducive to putting on makeup. So just a little room for improvement. But otherwise it was great

The room was so much bigger than I'd thought, and it was immaculate!! Loved the very high wood panelled ceilings, super clean. Had a chat with owner before I arrived, very helpful and so friendly. Easy access to room, very clear instructions, so cozy for such a cold weekend, was a real retreat from the outside world. Rooms were very sound proof as well, will stay everytime when I town 🙏☺️☺️❤️

Couldn't fault anything

Good location and comfortable amenities.

Only thing was the information folder may need updating to reflect the current circumstances/reality. No breakfast available as far as I know; although the information sheet seemed to indicate that it could be ordered. Bathroom door handle was difficult to operate but we managed it with some technique - just needs some maintenance attention.

The location was very good for our field work purposes. Easy access to main roads & nearby shops. Rooms were clean & comfortable. The beds comfortable too. There was a huge storm during our stay and there were no problems & felt safe in the premises. We needed assistance with our vehicle on the final day of our stay and the mechanic's garage, recommended by the Motel staff, was in the same street. The mechanic fixed our issue straight away and got us back on the road. Fabulous service all round!! Will definitely stay here again.

Just a personal preference but I wasn't a fan of the skylight in the room. It let in sunlight a bit too early for my liking. It is possible they are not in every room. Still happy to come back for future stays.

Friendly and helpful staff relocated us to the room next door where the electric blanket was properly working. good hot water, and shower. Good tea and coffee selections. Good heating system, TV and lights.

A cleaning cloth and dishwashing liquid to wash up with, and a plug for the basin is a definite need.

VERY comfortable bed, Shower had great pressure, there was a remote control access panel that you get a message about before you arrive, so everything is all sorted before you get there. You know your room number, where to park, how to get it... super easy... and then a very comfortable room. Would recommend.

Easiest check in process - received email with pin for the room to use during our stay which meant we could come and go and didn’t have to worry about a key.

There were some noisy guests that kept a friend of mine awake (also staying at property) but nothing else
