Fabulous accommodation in a peaceful setting! My partner and I were upgraded to the 'Stables', which provided a warm, inviting, and luxurious stay without any feeling of it being 'over the top'. It would have to be "up there" in terms of the best overnight accommodation I have stayed at! The surrounding gardens were fabulous, and the location was great in terms of its access to the delights of Sale and of East Gippsland generally. Tim at Reception was very friendly, genuine, and welcoming I will make a point of staying here again!

There was nothing to dislike!

We stayed in the stables and it was just gorgeous, beautiful and tastefully furnished. Well equipped with mod cons. Beautiful stain glasses windows. Amazing old brickwork. The furniture was comfy and appropriate to the style of the building. I especially loved the heritage style claw bath that I got to soak in. The huge shower with twin (one each) shower heads were fantastic. Tim was very welcoming and very accommodating , nothing was a bother for him (not that we had any) and it was a pleasant surprise that he checked in via text message with us if he was going to be away from the building. We only stayed 2 nights but I could see myself easily staying there for a week. Definitely would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Sale.

Lovely period property sympathetically decorated and kitted out with quality furnishings and equipment. I've never seen such a fancy kettle. Property has beautiful garden available to guests. Personal welcome from owner Tim who takes an interest in you without being intrusive. Oh, and it was fantastic value for money. If your idea of luxury is based on a 5* corporate hotel, this isn't for you, but for the rest of us this is a little slice of luxury delivered with character, comfort and a personal touch.

We liked our host and the flexibility with checkout timings. The property was well maintained and very spacious for our family. We saw a hare at the property and my kid liked it a lot. We were able to walk arounf the property to explore the garderns as well. Loved sleeping in the attick was very cosy.

The mattress in the King bed was a litte soft and I personally prefer form matteess to sleep on. Bedroom number 3 did not have any aircon and it was cold in the night. But there were other bedrooms we took to and it was not a hassel at all as the property has 5 bedrooms.

Great idea converting old farm buildings etc into accommodation for the property. Loved that the decor was relevant to the heritage of the property but had all the modern conveniences you could want. Plenty of heating options for a cold evening, TV in lounge area as well as bedroom, beautifully maintained. Owner was away during our visit but communicated really well with instructions and photos on how to access our room....very necessary for us as we arrived quite late in the evening!

Only thing that was a very slight negative for us was that we hadn't checked out the property website prior to making our reservation so were unaware that our allocated room had a loft/mezzanine space for the bedroom which had to be accessed by stairs and the ceiling height was very low for one side of the space. Although in the "mature" age group, we could manage it OK but others may not be able to, so this should possibly be advised in advance. Absolutely NOT a true negative though!

Our stay at Bon Accord Stable Apartments was an experience of pure comfort, luxury, and elegance, with beautifully designed interiors and top-notch amenities that made us feel pampered. From the serene surroundings to the thoughtful details in every corner, the apartment provided a perfect balance of modern sophistication and homely warmth.

Such a lovely property, perfectly restored with every comfort you could ask for. We stayed in the one bed apartment called the 'stables' which is beautiful - a luxurious upstairs bedroom and bathroom, with a cosy downstairs kitchenette and lounge room/ breakfast area. All the appliances are very high quality and perfectly maintained - you feel at home straight away. Tim is a very friendly host and has wonderful tips on the local area. This was our third visit - we'll be back again.

The accommodation was unique experience, taking into old word charm and comfort. Location was secluded and quiet which made for a good nights sleep

As ai was there for business, the accommodation was not suited for someone wanting to use their laptop to work as their was no desk and chair comfortable and ergonomic. If this trip had been for leisure and a couple on holidays it would have been perfect.

Bon Accord offers excellent accommodation that is comfortable and very clean. Tim, the host, is wonderful and has lots of local knowledge. The property is well maintained and conveniently located a short distance from the main area of Sale. I highly recommend Bon Accord for couples, families, and long stays.

We stayed in the homestead which was large & well furnished. The owner was very accommodating with any requests. Beautiful property in general with large gardens with fruit trees. Geed value for money for large family or group.

Location was good for what we required but probably not that good for proximity to town centre.
