The motel was nice and quiet, even though it is on the main road. The beds and pillows were very comfortable & the bathroom was spacious. The room includes a microwave, toaster & kettle.

On the website it says breakfast is included, and shows a photo of the breakfast room with toast, fresh fruit, coffee, etc. The website also says the breakfast room is available to enjoy your breakfast…….however they haven’t used the breakfast room for a long time, and breakfast includes a packet of cereal, a tub of two fruits, a juice box of orange juice & a muesli bar included in your room. Time to update the website to show an accurate representation of breakfast, as this is actually the reason I booked this motel.

Breakfast was perfect for us. For the first time in a room we had ENOUGH MILK! The extras in the continental breakfast were great for us having such an early start each day for our work. The muesli bar was a godsend to whip out by morning tea o'clock! Juice and fruit cup popped into the fridge were a great snack to come home to. The room was immaculately clean and had a great shower. The location was great too, everything we needed close by. Thanks again to our wonderful engaging hosts.

We were greeted by a friendly staff member even though we arrived later than expected. He was extremely helpful and offered us suggestions for the following day on our road trip. We had 2 rooms and they were directly beside each other as we had requested. They were both clean and comfortable, and even provided free extras such as biscuits, granola bars, and box milk in the refrigerator. Also they have a horse right at the property which really surprised and delighted my children! Thank you Ship's Inn, we really enjoyed our stay!!

Good cheap motel 1km from centre of town. A great example of a motel being very affordable and also providing all the basics properly. Good room, lots packed into it, in terms of breakfast, microwave, kettle, toster, cutlery, television, table, storage space etc. Very big ensuite bathroom. Nice colours, white bedding and blue towels. Good breakfast options in room, nice coffee, lots of milk in room. Everything I needed at a highly affordable price

Pool had cleaning pipes and head in it, so didn't use.

Super cute motel! Managers were so lovely and friendly! We had 2 twin rooms for our family, and loved our stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean and have everything you need including cutlery, plates, bowls, microwave, toater, TV, toiletries and r/c air con. We really appreciate the brekkie included (cereal, fruit, muslie bars and juice) Motel is on the main road, but was still very quiet overnight. Great value for money, we'd happily stay again and recommend!

Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower was fantastic - hot and great water pressure. The room contained all the amenities you need and was the perfect place for a short stay. The continental breakfast that was included in the price was very good. The motel manager was a lovely lady who was super friendly and made us feel very welcome.

There was nothing that we didn't like about the Ship Inn.

I arrived late and was able to have my room waiting for me. I called on my way and was able to have the key ready so I wouldn't be a disturbance to staff at late arrival. This was not a problem with staff on phone, very accommodating. Room had some breakfast options which was a fantastic thing as I was leaving early and would need something before I got on the road.

Not being able to have a longer look around the area, only saw a small mount as I was driving through Main St on my way out of town.

Clean and spacious room in this country hotel did not disappoint. Room had a microwave, plates and some breakfast cereals and muesli bars. I didn't use any during my stay but it was a lovely touch. The owner was very pleasant, check in easy and I enjoyed that two of the Heesco murals I had come to see were at the hotel itself.

If only the pool was available it would have been perfect! I guess that's seasonal though.

Location close to town. RSL , Woodside Beach & Tarra Valley parks, It was well lit at night ensuring safety Cleanliness exceptional -in our room & poolside Bath towels were luxuriously soft ! Bed was very comfortable & good size shower with strong water flow & hot water. Nice touch having toaster & microwave in room Breakfast box was a bonus & convenient to have in room We received a very genuine & warm welcome & farewell - We will definately be staying at Ship Inn Motel again !

Comfortable and clean room for the price. Staff were friendly, readily available and responsive to needs, and maintained a pleasant and safe environment - as a solo traveller I felt safe at all times. Location was pleasant and easily accessible.

I preferred a more sturdy lock on the door but it was sufficient.
