The staff were great, the meal was great and the accommodation was great so in summary the Commercial Hotel was a great place to stay, we had football finals to attend and this accommodation helped us watch a 2 point loss for our grand son in the under 11s at Woodside and a 3 point win for our grand daughters under 18 youth girls grand final at Traralgon. Thanks to Jasman and her team, you were all fantastic and very welcoming. Cheers.

Have to be honest here, the only thing we could criticise would be the towels smelling like the chips! Sorry but clearly the laundry is way too close to the cooking vents.

Spacious room, free parking, restaurant, bar and bottle’O within seconds of the room, super friendly staff that help you with anything you need and nice quiet surrounding streets for a restful night sleep.

Shower base is too tall which seniors find very difficult to get in and out of the shower, needing help to access basic local television stations on the t.v and better lighting needed in the car park area.

I cycled to/from the hotel, and a car wash was nearby. This meant I could clean the bike and store it in the room - the room had plenty of space. Bonus of having the pub menu as takeaway, so I could eat in my room, which was comfortable. The room heating was by a very effective radiator, which meant it was quiet and I could wash and dry my kit for the next day. The meal was amazing! Brisket burger, awesome fries and generous sticky date pudding (be sure to get 2 scoops of ice cream :-) )

The kitchenette had only cups and saucers, not mugs.

Location. Great price. Staff were very helpful.

A really good overnighter or few days place to stay. On the oldish side but basic, clean and comfortable. Price and location excellent.

It is on the basic side, but I like cheap as I don't use hotels, motels etc as resorts.

"Cheap and cheerful." For the price you couldn't fault it. It was comfortable and clean, shower was good. Excellent meal at the Pub. Rooms were quiet.

central location and I could walk everywhere

The only thing was no Wi Fi in the room, only in the bistro

Great location in centre of town - staff were very friendly and efficient - our seafood dinner was fantastic.
