I found the bed in my original room uncomfortable and the manager (I think) was very gracious and helpful and changed me to another room. Great customer service. The pool and spa don't look flash on first impressions, but we had a lot of enjoyment from both. Good location, 4min drive to most things. Clean. Everything is a touch dated, but its a motel not the Ritz. Sleepwell Motel is still better than the Crown Towers, which was absolutely appalling for the price. :)

Some beds need replacing,but I understand that's a very expensive undertaking with so many rooms. Very grateful to be able to switch rooms. Great management.

Very helpful staff, easy check in and check out (we had a late check in and an early check out - both were very simple). Rooms were fairly dated in terms of décor, but clean and comfortable. Which was all we needed for our stay. Beds were quite firm but comfortable, plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We stayed in a large family room which had a sliding door between main bed and single beds, this was great for us.

Unfortunately the guests staying near us were workers who started work before 5am and were not particularly considerate with keeping their voices low, and idled their trucks before driving away. Not the fault of the accommodation of course - but maybe provides insight into how well sound travels into the rooms? Should note that as this is on Albany Highway there is a lot of passing traffic, and we stayed in a room on the side nearest the road - this didn't bother us but if you are sensitive to road noise at night might be worth requesting a room furthest from the road. Parking area out front of rooms is a bit fiddly/small for longer or larger vehicles (the larger truck bays were in use during our stay) so take this into account if you have a bigger vehicle.

The room was a good size and quite comfortable. It was very clean. It was great that there was a fact sheet explaining all of the tv stations! The bed was great.

The shower area was a bit claustrophobic due to the layout of the bathroom, quite dark. The location is a bit of a walk from shopping areas not that I mind walking, but it's something less able people might be able to do. The walls are fairly thin between rooms and I could hear people most of the time fairly clearly, which made me conscious of my own noise! I was awoken to a screaming match between the people in the room next door, who left in a bit of a rage, narrowly missing hitting my car! Oh the adventures you have on holidays! I don't think that the managers could have done much about that! Most places have some info on the motel rules etc, and local info. I can't recall seeing any info about this.

Clean and welcoming, Bed was ok, parking and convenience was awesome.

Biggest issue we had was after having a long trip the water was cold and we thought we would not be able to have a hot shower. Thankfully the water did heat but we had to leave the water running for a very long time before it started to warm up which was very wasteful and if we had not been rinsing a stained shirt we would not have realised the water would turn hot. perhaps a sign or some form of warning would be appropriate if the buildings facilities can not be changed to fix the time delay.

Owners/staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and large. Large bathroom and shower stalls (large enough for a shower chair) with great water pressure and toiletries. Really liked the indoor heated spa and cold pool. We had booked 2 rooms, and 1 bed was comfortable, but the other room had some springs that you could feel through the night. Overall, it is great value for money.

If you are looking for wheelchair access, be sure to mention it at the time of booking, i think. Most units i saw had at least one step to the verandah. Thankful, this was not a problem but it may have been as we required accessibility.I was also disappointed to find that the website for Sleepwell Motel is out of date, per the website there was a restaurant and bar on site. The restaurant is now breakfast only, with the bar not open either. This was a consideration given how far from the CBD the motel is located.

I was so pleased I chose Sleepwell Motel and definitely will be coming back. Nice indoor pool and spa, tennis court and very good laundry facilities. Love all the little touches such as iron in the laundry and hair dryer and even shaving foam in the bathroom and a cheeky bar you can go for a few drinks. Was so peaceful a little fountain at the front, great kitchen/bbq facilities and I found I could really relax and feel on holiday here. The staff are very thoughtful and friendly. This place is a gem and super cheap for all the place has to offer as there was even a small playground for little kids.

If I was going to be super picky the only thing I could think of is I like they don’t have hot chocolate but they have thought of everything else included in the continental breaky from muffins, yogurt, toast, cereal and loads of different juices set out a wonderful spread to fulfill every need.

Good location

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent booking. My reservation was for 7 adults and 3 children, and I was required to book 4 rooms. However, during our stay, we found that 3 rooms were sufficient to accommodate our group comfortably. I feel I was unnecessarily charged for an additional room that we did not need. This issue could have been avoided if your booking system optimized room allocations more effectively based on the group size.

Motel has a pool, spa and a tennis court, exactly the things I enjoy doing when on a holiday. Also has breakfast. Room was good, everything we needed, shower worked well, nice and hot, enough space in the room, table and chairs in room to sit on, all positive

Only thing I wished I brought was my own pillow, have trouble sleeping on other pillows, they were a bit flat, maybe some new memory foam pillows in the room would be a plus as I feel sleep is very important.

Compared to the Best Western, the bed was more comfortable, modern split ac was better and separate toilet was good

Because you are charged for doing your own dishes, the dishes were dirty, there was chunks of egg in the kettle, the housekeepers took the bathmat and didn't replace it for all 3 days in a row, there was no shower cap, no bin in bathroom, no face washer or hand towel

Close to everything we needed! Saw lots! Picked up a five day National Park pass just down the street. Went to the Gap, Shelley Beach, hiked.... Continental Breakfast included was a bonus. Owner and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

We were thinking of using the BBQ but, they needed to be cleaned. Got take in and ate in our room instead.
