Nice little lodge that’s removed a bit from the the main town but still only just a couple of minutes away. Common area was very spacious and had everything needed. The owner was incredible - she showed us to our room and all of the amenities and was super cheerful! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her!

Only downside is the sharing of the space (which is outlined in the booking so you know what you’re signing up for). There’s one bathroom to be shared with a couple of other rooms so you may need to wait your turn to use it. Not really an issue though, just something to be aware of. Aside from that, keep in mind you’re sharing the space with another couple of rooms - could be loud. The night was quiet for us but in the morning some of the other guests were super loud early in the morning. No fault of the lodge, just a part of having a shared space and something to be aware of.

This was a really great spot to stop for the night. We got the family unit. Very clean and comfortable. The owners made sure we had all we needed and even hooked our foodvan up to power in the secure yard when we needed it. Very lovely owners and a hidden gem of a place to stay. Come with family or if in need of rest. There's a common area with a pool table, lounges, and TV to all hang out. Air con works well. Showers are good. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. We were very grateful for the stopover. A bit away from Geraldton city if that's what you prefer, but it's seriously not far to town and nice and quiet in this location. Perfect to get back on the highway the next day. Highly recommended, for a home like space you can relax in. Byo food and drinks and it's perfect. Thanks to the owners, we really appreciated the time with you.

Tiny bit of occasional road noise from but the gentle hum of the ducted aircon cut most of that out.

The host was so friendly and helpful and this made our stay very enjoyable. She was happy to have a bit of a chat and give us some history of the place. We were shown the bbq area as well as the layout of the place and where everything was. We don’t generally stay with shared bathrooms but found this experience to be fine, with only 3 rooms sharing one bathroom. Location is a few k’s out of town but this didn’t bother us at all because you don’t get any loud foot traffic passing by. There is a supermarket a few ks away that was easy to get to

Very good value for money. Good contact via the booking messenger. Allison, the owner, is really nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was spacious and clean, the beds comfy. It was nice and quite during the night.

It's quite far away from everything (if you want to walk and don't drive), but we stayed only 1 night so it's fine.

We stopped here on our way back to Perth. Friendliest staff we’ve encountered, room was so clean as were the shared bathrooms. Free pool table, big flat screen tv and plenty of common area. Short drive to the local shops and Geraldton centre. Kitchen was so well equipped and everything was clean and tidy. Definitely our favourite accommodation on the west coast and for the price it’s a bargain. Thank you Rhodeside Lodge

Overall excellent, friendly host, very good location

Only one point against and that is the front car park entry, which in a small family car can/did scrape the underframe of the car, the only way to try avoid this is to drive on/ off at an angle, no problems for a 4WD/SUV, but on our nights stay there was ours, 1 other small car, and another family car using the car park. Basically the curb angle is too acute, and the car park gravel surface is almost entirely lower than the top of the curb.

Me & my two sisters got a two bedroom unit & I got a room to myself. The facilities were good also. The place is nice & quiet too!

Couldn't access or turn on the TV in my actual room because the TV cord could NOT reach any power point & no extension cord was any where to rectify the situation, so to be able to lay in bed, relax & watch the television was not an option......

I loved the complimentary breakfast items of serial, juice, yoghurt & toast. My favourite part of a stress free travel. The room had air conditioning, it was quiet enough to suit my sensory needs & a quiet group of accommodation about 10 minutes from the main town.

When I arrived, my neighbour was watching stuff on their phone with the volume very loud. People should be considerate that I don't want to listen to what they're listening to. Get some ear phones, heck I have to just to escape the noise. Why should people with noise sensitivities be put at double discomfort? I think consideration goes a long way.

We arrived checkin met this Friendly guy,introducing me around the house,happy to have 3 Queen size in each room,unfortunately only have 1bathroom 1toilet,if the toilet is in a separate room will be fantastic. I happened to sleep in the room next to the common share livingroom,I think have 3 others units share the commonroom which have a BBQ,a long dinning table, sofa,TV. Well some peoples who watch TV and loud pass 11pm and didn't bother to turn off till morning. To who incharge that property please put a note next to the TV "Please Turn Off If Not Use"& after 10pm keep the volume down. That will be much appreciated.

The best things they provided breads,milks,lots of butter,honey and cereals.Place linens are clean and comfortable.

For $161 for the night, there were 3 of us and we had a bedroom (very spacious) each; breakfast was very generous with X2 1Litre bottles of milk, x2 loaves of bread, Apple Juice, cereals, butter & jams, tea and coffee- very clean and very quiet. BBQ right out front which we used.

My elderly Mum found her bed a bit too firm for her but the other 2 people very happy with theirs. It was great location as we were travelling on to Perth next day but if you were staying for a few days it was probably a bit too far out of Geraldton to access shops etc but we werent at all concerned with that.
