Rooms were cleaner than what you would expect from most backpackers. The toilet was clean with sufficient hooks for hanging clothing and toiletries. Location is right in the centre of Geraldton, where cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance. The back of the accommodation faces the amazing foreshore. Staff recommended I parked the car in the back rather than out front along the main road for safety reasons.

The rooms, perhaps, could have a less musky smell. But that didn't bother me much since I was out and about most of the time.

What a beautiful house! If you like heritage buildings, this is a gem. I loved the atmosphere! The rooms, kitchen, and common areas are stunning, well-equipped, and incredibly cozy. Cleanliness was absolutely outstanding—it puts most hotels in Australia to shame. The lady at reception was nice and helpful.

It was a bit cold in the room, and a heater would have been appreciated. However, we were offered extra blankets, which was a nice touch.

From the moment I walked in, they were super welcoming, like they’ve known me forever (or maybe they’re just that good). The crew? Top-notch, fabulous, couldn’t ask for a better vibe. Whether you're in Geraldton for business or just soaking up that holiday energy, this is the place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good people and great times.

Great location the lady at the front desk was lovely and the building was beautiful!

While this is not the fault of the accomodation, the weather was terrible, freezing and wet! I’m assuming because the building is heritage listed, heating is hard to manage but it was very cold. The outdoor smoking area is beautiful but not sheltered so it made popping down for a smoke freezing.

The location was great and it was very clean.

No ac, though we were aware of that before our stay. It was very hot whilst we were in Geraldton, so we missed the ac more than we would have at another time. We had a room at the front of the property & there was a lot of early morning noise, though again that was not the fault of the staff or the property itself.

The lovely owner of the hostel was amazing, communicated well even before arrival and she was just great when I arrived. The private room was just what I needed for a quick night stop over and the facilities and bathrooms were clean and nice. There was no noises around so sleep was good and you felt safe as they locked the gates at night. Thanks xx

Location was exceptional and the building was beautiful. We love and appreciate heritage features, gardens, plant decor, tasteful decor including colour scheme and decorative features and it was immaculately clean. And we were welcomed by friendly, helpful staff. The location was perfect. Geraldton was beautiful. Lots of trendy cafes and shops. All within walking distance.

It lacked a sink for filling up kettle close by. Was possibly too pricey for a backpackers that doesn’t have a bathroom though the location and building were perfect.

This place is brilliant, the building is a gorgeous old guesthouse, lovingly and tastefully transformed into a modern, comfortable backpackers with amazing facilities. Bed is comfy, shower is warm and the huge kitchen has everything you need for a cook-up. The back patio is stunning, with heaps of tables and seats for relaxing in the sun or taking some shade under the impressive passionfruit vine (time your visit well for passionfruit season! ) But to top all this, the host Pippa was incredible. Friendly, thoughtful and caring, she went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and relaxed. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will be forever grateful to Pippa for a wonderful stay .

We only stayed the one night after a drive from Perth. We arrived later than scheduled due to an accident on the road and Pippa was more than accommodating. Her cheerful and pleasant demeanour made us feel welcome The location is fantastic - right on the beachfront and a short walk from local cafes.

The building itself is historical so there are some creaks however that it to be expected.

I arrived late but was welcomed to the hostel by the manager and the rear parking area secure gate was opened for me. The hostel was immaculately clean especially the bathrooms. I enjoyed a Thai meal at the restaurant in the same building. The price was very reasonable for a very comfy clean dorm bed.
