The hotel is clean and well-maintained, which made a great first impression upon arrival. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped—perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The food was another highlight of our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff was superfriendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. The ski lift is just a short distance away. After a day on the slopes, guests can also unwind in the hotel’s wellness area. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay, and we highly recommend Sporthotel Dachstein West to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation with great food and excellent access to the slopes.

The hotel was really great overall. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable and we had a very nice terrace with a view on the river. We kept the window open at night and fell asleep lulled by the soothing sound of flowing water, we loved the location. Everything was pretty clean, there were basic things like soap, one single refillable shampoo in the shower, hairdryer, toilet paper and towels. There were also coffee and tea bags and an electric kettle.

Honestly I was a little disappointed by the breakfast, I don't know why I expected something more. My partner really liked it, eventhough he would've preferred to eat breakfast close to the water considering that they had tables and chairs and all, but it was served inside. The windows in the room had no screen nor net to keep the insects away. There was no fridge in the room, tricky for us considering that we usually bring snacks or fruits. The parking was a little bit further, it wasn't a problem for us but maybe an issue for people with functional limitations.

Very clean, very supportive Staff, good localization however my room had balcony on main road side but it wasn’t too noisy, own parking place however in 100-150m distance from hotel, indoor bike storage room.

All was good. Maybe it was a bit too hot as no air-conditioning in my room.

Nice hotel ,typical of Austria with large rooms and lots of wood. Dinner was very nice and reasonably priced and the breakfast also good. Use of Sauna was available. Hotel is on main road but very little traffic.

Limited parking.

The property completely met my expectations. Spacious room with a balcony overlooking the river, comfortable bed, impeccable breakfast. The staff was very kind and professional, courteous and helpful. A beautiful experience of the legendary Austrian hospitality!

Super clean, and recently renovated. The location is top notch: you can go by car to Hallstatt and back. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. The personal is very friendly and always happy to help.

More sweets for breakfast would be nice : ))

Amazing location. Away from the business of Hallstatt but not too far away. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well presented.

We arrives late, it was no host, but the lady took the time to call us and to explain how to get in the hotel.
