Hotel Moserwirt is beautiful. We planned our trip to Bad Goisern and our stay at the hotel last minute, two days before. The room was the most comfortable of our two weeks, and breakfast the best. We walked around the town to the park mornings and evenings, and rented e-bikes (off-site at BikeWorld, ask at the hotel) to ride to the northern tip of the lake for a swim (note both clothed and unclothed beaches separated by a little bridge) and spent most of the day there. This was a nice respite from sightseeing, there were few people and few other tourists. Definitely book half-board (breakfast and dinner) for at least your first night. Make reservations for other nights or just plan half-board. The restaurant choices in the area are slim and nothing can compare. If you need gluten-free you can forget every other restaurant. Everything we ordered at the hotel was delicious. I am gluten-free and there were several dishes that could accommodate my celiac needs. I’m also normally dairy-free, but decided to try eating a dish that contained cheese. Not only was it amazing, but I had no reaction to it and ordered the same meal the next night. Meals for two plus one drink each cost less than €50. Coming from Switzerland that felt like pocket change. Breakfast was not only the usual boiled eggs, breads, and meat, but also eggs to order, a nice touch. The gluten-free bread wasn’t good. Only thing that wasn’t. The beds were very comfortable. A carafe of spring water was in the room, but tap was good too. The shower soap was nice, not drying. The hotel is an easy 10min walk lightly uphill from the train station. Take the route through the beautiful local park. We loved it at this hotel and our stay in Bad Goisern. If we can we will return!

We do wish we had a fan in the room. It got hot at times, and the towels were a bit worn out. The sauna was broken and we missed that when we got caught in the rain on our bikes. Hence the 9 instead of 10. And just a warning that there is some chance that a godawful siren will go off late at night practically outside the windows (firefighter call?)

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a wide variety of options, including freshly prepared eggs. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds (softer ones). The hotel was quiet at night, and there were lots of parking places available. The sauna and dinner experience were also exceptional, with locally sourced dishes and live local music. It's a shame we only stayed for one night, as the area seems perfect for hiking. I would highly recommend this hotel for a truly outstanding experience!

Absolutely fabulous hotel like from fairytales. Very close to bus and train station. Owners taking care of every detail, so that quests can feel pleasant and comfortable like at home. Large spotless room with nice design, great personalised breakfast prepared taking into account every guest preferences. Hotel has sauna, spa area and the pool. Thank you for making me feel like at home. I will definitely return to this place.

The breakfast was excellent- great addition to a lovely stay. The availability of games, coffee and dessert in the lounge is appreciated. The proximity to the train station was a bonus and allowed us to see many adjacent towns. Appreciated being allowed to leave our luggage in the room early in the morning and l prior to check-in time.The room was very clean.

The hand soap dispenser was empty upon arrival but this was rectified the next day.

Helpful and friendly staff. I appreciated being able to check in early as my room was ready and then check out one hour later as well. Thank you. The breakfast was the best we have had in Austria so far and we loved the freshly squeezed juice and cooked bacon and eggs. Plus the free cake and coffee in the afternoon was very nice.

Possible to charge our electric car to a reasonable price. Wonderful with the afternoon snack. Delicious food at the Thursday pork roast event. Super good breakfast where it was possible to order hot dishes. Cosy atmosphere at the hotel and a very friendly and service minded staff

The owner and employees are very kind and helpful. It was off-season and they upgraded our room, which was a really nice surprise. The foyer had very comfortable seats beside a fireplace and there are free snacks, cake and coffee every afternoon.

The whole staff was just really freindly al the time. We arrived quite late and managed to make an arrangement with the reception, much appreciated. Everything at the breakfast was really delicious, you can boil your own eggs the way you like them. You get local bread and also other products. I also liked the fact that they have a sauna. A really nice gesture, at departyre since it was close to Saint Nicholas we received two small figurines, very thoughfull from them. We tried the food at the restaurant and they have really good food there as well so I recommend you try it, the special disges and the ones specific to the region.

From description I got the information there is also whirlpool but we could not find it, no big deal for me. Otherwise absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was great.

Spacious room with many amenities. Secured parking spot. Everything was super clean. Moreover, breakfast was amazing. We also had dinner at the restaurant which is excellent. I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you to all the nice personnel that made our stay special.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! The breakfast is amazing, the staff is incredibly attentive, the room is big, cozy and super comfortable, and the location is perfect. Absolutely no flaws – highly recommend!
