Really good location. Hallstatt, Gosau, Gosausee and Bad Ischl all very accessible by train or bus. The train and bus station is a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was basic but good. The room was clean with a nice view of the mountains.

Only a 6 minute train ride to Hallstatt & just a 5 minute walk to the train station from hotel. The check in/check out instructions were detailed, the staff were wonderful, the cost was very affordable & the free parking included was a definite bonus considering parking in Europe is extremely difficult. The included breakfast was convenient & delicious. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a place to stay when visiting Hallstatt.

Room was quite small but manageable

The location was great and there is loads of free parking on the property. Please bear in mind you are staying on top of a large pub which can have guests outside until late at night. Perfect location to visit Hallstatt without staying in the overcrowded (and overpriced) tourist town as it's a very short drive. The accommodation is in a very(!) small village but we had a great dinner in Bad Ischl, a very pretty nearby town.

The room was very hot and it was only early June. You might struggle during hot summer months. Outside pub guests close to our window kept us awake for a bit.

Nice clean comfortable room. Small bathroom but clean & good shower. Comfortable beds. Side tables with lamps & sockets. Plenty of space to unpack if needed. Room 6 mountain view. Plenty of free parking in front of hotel. Arrived after 3 so had to get key out lock box but no problem. Kettle on landing area so could make hot drink if you take your own things. Fridge as well for all guests . Eateries in area but close quite early so check times.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. The place was beautiful, the apartment was spacious and clean, and fully equipped with amenities. Moreover, the price included a buffet breakfast with delicious and plentiful food. The staff here were very friendly. This was our first time traveling here, so we had many questions, and the staff enthusiastically answered all of them. They helped us have a wonderful trip. Thank you once again. We hope to have the chance to return in the future!

First what you may notice here is a magnificent location. The view is breathtaking and even overwhelming. The whole vibe is something beyond reality. The hotel is very comfy with special own aura. Here you have everything you may need: parking lot, good breakfast, nice place to stay and even a place to rest next to the hotel (several tables under trees with astonishing view on the mountains). The hotel is pretty neat and clean, it is also in a process of restoration, so they upgrade some new rooms. Pretty easy check-in method, just call and get instructions. I was pleasantly surprised, that staff here speaks different languages including Ukrainian. The breakfast is another good point for this hotel.You won’t be hungry after it. Coffee, tea, juice, veggies, fruits and all other continental breakfast usuals. Here you may also try a buffet for lunch (unfortunately we didn’t have time to do it). I am really pleased with staying here. It was a good relaxing point in our journey.

The hotel is in a small village with relaxing surroundings, such as small meadow with some flowers, mountain view along the way from the little train station. A peaceful and charming stay.

The restaurant in the hotel mostly opens only until lunch time. And the last boat from Hallstatt is so early at 18.15. If you plan to have dinner at the hotel, it’s good idea to ask whether their restaurant opens in that evening.

Room amenities were great. Rooms were spacious and kitchen had all the utilities. The balcony view was beautiful.

There was a bad smell coming from the neighborhood upon opening the kitchen door on the first day but that was gone the next day. There is a step going from room to kitchen which is kind of invisible due to the matching flooring. I tripped on it multiple times.

The location of the hotel is incredible: 15 minutes drive from Hallstatt and 5 minute walk away from the Steeg train station, from which you can get to Hallstatt; 30-40 minutes drive from other lakes (Attersee, Mondsee and Wolfgangsee). The breakfast was decent and the parking was decent. Another thing to point out is that the rooms were very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast here was really good, you can notice that it's related to the butcher. Personel was also nice and helpful. Check in was a bit weird regarding the keybox but didn't pose any real problems.

The rooms were a bit small and although we booked 2 rooms (1 for the wife and me, other one for my 9 year old child) the rooms weren't next to eachother. That wasn't a real problem, but still felt a bit weird not being next door to your child.
