The location is just funtastic. Its a small sleepy locatioñ but full of character. Its well located to visit Hallstatt one of the most popular locations in Austria. We have been travelling in Europe by car comming to close to 2 months and have visited some very special places but Hallstatt is the tops. Staying in Bad Mittendorf with its proximity of some 21 km of wonderfull scenery along the way was magical. On the approches to Hallstatt you will see the cable car going up the mountain on you left. Just follow the sign for parking on your left as it will be the biggest and it has limitted spots due to many visitors. When you enter the parking at the boom gate you will receive a security tag token that will be redeemed at the end when you leave. First when you insert the tag to determine the time and to parking payment. Second, on payment the tag will be returned for you to use to exit parking. Go to the top of the mountain and enjoy the magical view. Down at the village just have a stroll and enjoy the view and take all the photos as you will not be there every day. The staff were amazing very helpfull and its them that will make out trip So memorable.

This is not critising but just a suggestion to management. In europe its common the bedding comprises of a duet or a doona as we call it in Australia. However during summer that is too hot to sleep with. We had to strip the cover and use it as a bed sheet as othervise it would be imposible to sleep with the supplied duet. The suggestion for summer duration supply bed sheets and maybe a very light blanket for unexpected weather Changes.

Rooms were pretty clean. Breakfast was standard and decent. Check in and out was very smooth. No rooms for five, so had to book separately. Location is great, about 30mins from Hallstatt, though I must say this little town is better than hallstatt. Good pub, kebab shop and bakery nearby.

Some of the balcony areas were a bit sticky on the floor. No one on site after-hours, so a bit difficult if you have an issue. Parking is a 5-10 min walk away at the school if the 4 spots in front of the hotel aren't available - we got a notice from the local authorities (?) that we couldn't park at the school, hotel management do take note of this

Very good location if you want to avoid crowds. Not so far from Hallstatt, about 30mins away. The room was really clean, the bed was comfortable. The room had a nice view from balcony. The breakfast was quite good, not so much choice if you came a little bit late.

No staff on the hotel. Only 4 parking spaces, but few minutes away there is a large city parking (near the school or shopping mall). Unstable and poor Wi-Fi connection. In the bathroom was one half used toilet paper roll, not enough for two people for two days, same with shower gel.

Beatiful location overlooking great mountain views and in the centre of Bad Mittendorf. Also a perfect location to use for a visit to Hallstatt one of the most picturesk places in Austria. You want be sorry staying there. The staff were very helpfull and made our stay memorable.

Everything shuts down on sunday having limited choices or restaurants that are open. Fx

We were just passing through, and the accommodation was generally suitable for that purpose. Good value for money.

The sofa bed was hard and the breakfast was quite poor. One thing that should be improved is the check-in process and the way all guest information is collected, as it was quite inconvenient — the whole process took about half an hour, and it took another 30 minutes to receive the access code.

Great location. Check-in at any time. Many wrote that the breakfasts were poor. I think the breakfasts were sufficient: hot breakfasts, yogurts, fresh bread, cheese, sausage.

Only 4 parking spaces, but a few minutes walk away there is a large free city parking. Check-in is quite complicated, only if you book a room a few days in advance.

Rooms and breakfast were okay.

There was a problem with the agency handling the accommodation. After I paid, I didn’t get any response from them for three hours. I only received an automatic message saying they were too busy. Luckily, a woman showed up and helped me. The agency is worthless.

We had a great time in the hotel, but there are very few parking slots available (only four), and the authorities are very eager and swift with the fines. There is public parking available 5 minutes off, so that was just a minor nuisance.

The hotel is located in a lovely neighbourhood not far from the train station. The room was spacious and clean, with a private bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic. I can imagine spending a few more days here.

The hotel was centrally located in the center of the village. Parking was a bit scarce but we always found a space. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was big, with a nice balcony overlooking the front. Breakfast was good.

No complaints, all good.
