We had a great stay during one of the busiest times of the year - Narzissenfest. We received a warm welcome and had the beautiful "Geigenbauer" apartment as our home for 3 days. Cosy, modern and tastefully decorated - very enjoyable with super friendly staff! The common area is amazing as well as the offerings for beverages that you pay at the end of your stay. We will be back for sure and bring our friends next time. Until we'll see you again Podenhaus!!

The only thing missing might be a tea filter/egg but I should have brought my own to start with. Everything else you could think of was supplied.

Podenhaus is a charming and luxurious residence that makes you feel like you are being entertained by nobles. The host was very friendly and is rightly proud of this masterpiece. Our apartment was designed and furnished to perfection, and it was impeccably clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Our room featured some stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains as well as the charming village of Bad Aussee. My wife and I were sad that we could not stay longer. A wonderful experience in every way.

The house is beautiful and the people working including the onwer are even better! If we come back to the region, we will for sure come back =). They even honored us with a delicious brekfast! Danke Gerhard crew!

Everything was very good, but if I would have to change something I would like a bigger and more confortable bed, Im a tall person 1,93 and I would have enjoyed to have a bigger bed, specially in a super nice and big bedroom like the ones you find at the hotel.

We were lucky enough to visit Podenhaus for 4 days this September and we can honestly say, it was our best ever visited accomodation. The welcome, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the view from our room and so on were 10/10. The uniqe vibe of the whole house was a cherry on top, it felt like a time-travel. Highly recommended but please leave free room for us for the next visit! 😉 Thank you for having us! We hope that we can visit you again soon!

This was one of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed at. Every detail was exceptional, the history of the house is so interesting, and we truly felt like home. Also the town of Bad Aussee is super cute. I hope we’ll be back for longer next time :)

Nicely renovated old house with a beautiful apartment and fully equipped shared kitchen and dining/living room. The apartment was with a stand-alone bathtub and shower. The apartment was well equipt with a full fridge, glasses for every occasion and Nespresso. The location is excellent for trips to Loser, Dachstein and all the lakes. ♥🚵‍♂️🚶‍♀️

Nothing. It would be great if it would be possible also to order breakfast, but this wasn't really an issue.

Loved the historic building, luxurious, comfortable atmosphere, shared kitchen/common area concept and wonderful host. The common areas and personal involvement of the owner made it much more enjoyable than a “normal” hotel.

Podenhaus is full of character and the detail with decor is exceptional. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. There were multiple common areas to sit and relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The quality of the property and service was exceptional and conveniently located in the village with fantastic restaurants and coffee shops.

We stayed in Sarsteinblick room, spacious room with a sitting area, bathtub and amazing view. We also used the shared kitchen to cook breakfasts, and served it in the garden. Amazing stay
