The hotel is at a great location, you see the entire lake and the sundowners are quite awesome.

The lady at reception and two waitresses were extremely rude. Had this been Asia, they wouldn't have the job by now, but considering this is EU, the management of hotel must be knowingly putting up with them. They had no smile in serving, everything was a NO. They were treating everyone like kindergartners and such a lovely property does not deserve 2-3 employees spoil the experience.

Our stay at MONDI Resort Grundlsee was almost perfect, especially for those looking to relax and soak in the beauty of nature. • The location is stunning—our studio unit had a balcony with breathtaking views of the lake. It was the perfect retreat for a peaceful getaway. • The studio came equipped with a kitchenette, which added convenience and flexibility during our stay. • The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of choices, and the champagne served on New Year’s morning was a delightful touch.

• The staff experience was disappointing. For instance, the hair dryer in our room was broken, and although I requested a replacement, it was never sent. • During check-in, the reception staff asked if it was our first visit. I answered yes, but one of his colleagues made a comment in their language and laughed, making my husband and me uncomfortable. It felt unprofessional and left a negative impression.

Beautiful hotel above Grundlsee. Our room was quite small but cosy, with small kitchen and big balcony. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices even sparkling wine. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also very tasty. Big swimming pool with lake views is nice place to rest. Staff was also very friendly, they prepared baby cot for our daughter for free. We can recommend this place.

Our room in the highest floor was not accessible by the elevator. There was a lot of lights in our room and they were all too strong. There was too hot in the pool area (35 degrees). Rooms with lake view are very very expensive.

I did like everything, but there're some things one should keep in mind: There was a misunderstanding: In the description all hotel rooms have pics with a balcony, but in fact not all of them have a balcony. If you want a room with a balcony, you should make a remark when booking a room (as an extra request). The lady at the reception was very nice and changed my room to the one with a balcony; The elevator in the hotel building reaches only the 2nd floor, stairs up to the 3rd floor; There's no air conditioning (at least in hotel rooms), but there's a ventilator.

We were really impressed by the view, the room has an stunning view to the lake, the studio room was big, cozy furnished, very clean with comfortable and big bed. We've enjoyed an abundant breakfast buffet with a huge variety of options. The staff were attentive and responsive. Last but not least, we had great time during the dinner in a la cart restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were really delicious. We recommend a memorable desert: Salzburg Nockerl. It was the best one we've eaten, even better than the famous ones in Salzburg. Just a small tip for dinner: make an upfront reservation because the restaurant is almost anytime fully booked.

The hotel is perfect, the view from the hotel balcony is breathtaking, all the facilities in the hotel are perfect, the book is excellent, the breakfast is perfect but as a customer my best experience is the staff at the hotel who were simply always there for me in every issue, I want to especially mention Michael and Elizabeth who did everything for me and made the trip Mine is perfect. I'm sure we'll see each other again, highly recommend the hotel!!

Everything!! The place is magical, next to the lake providing a breathtaking view. The room was excellent, quite comfortable with a small kitchen for those who want to prepare their own meals. It was very clean, and the room was very quiet. The breakfast was also very delicious. We also tried the restaurant that was also very nice.

Amazing place with incredible view like in fairytail, I think even better than in Halstatt. Very clean and fresh rooms after renovation Very well equipped kitchen (coffemachine, kettle but no tea, take with you)). Friendly personnel. Good breakfast with a lit of options. Free spa (sauna and pool). I would be happy to come again for a longer stay!

Parking was full due to holidays so was a challenge to find one.

Amazing breakfast, location is simply wow surrounded by mountains n lake on one side. We had the dinner there as well which was very nice and different. Would like to come again n spend more time.

More vegetarian options in hot breakfast and some chicken dishes in dinner menu.
