- Location was very close to the lake - Very good windows in the room, once closed the noise from the road was gone - Very nice owner and staff - Fresh eggs of choice for breakfast

- Location was directly next to a very busy road (Bundesstraße) so there was a constant noise from cars In addition there is currently a big construction next door, so surrounding was quite noisy. - small room (we had a premium room) which got very sticky and hot once the windows were closed (it was also very hot when we were there) To summarise, we enjoyed our stay at the lake and were mostly gone, but I think that the hotel is overpriced and that I would not stay here again. I feel sorry to write this as the owner and staff are super friendly, but it's important that people know what they get for their money.

We've got the best view over the lake, Manuella and other staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great and diverse breakfast, with eggs and pastry just from a pan. Tea and coffee are available during the day. If you're travelling with kids under 6, just make a note for a hotel as they don't see it on the reservation, so they will prepare a bed in advance

Available wine bar seemed to be overpriced. There was no fridge or kettle in the chosen room

Central location, staff very friendly, they upgraded my room without any charge from single to double. Comfortable mattress, very nice renovation to bathroom and especially to windows which is important to reduce the noise of the main road

It's an old building with low ceiling , the double room for 1 person is convenient, so my conclusion is that rooms are small. Except the bathroom that was very nice and renovated, there wasn't something to be impressed at the rest of the room, plus that I don't like carpets at a hotel room. I believe that it must be restricted to any hotel.

I was lucky enough to arrive on a beautiful sunny evening and was given a warm welcome having parked in front of the hotel. I was given a single room with a side view of the lake and a balcony, which was pretty good for one night. The hotel doesn't serve dinner but they were able to direct me to a choice which they knew were open on a Monday evening. A very short walk takes you to the lake shore where there are swimming facilities and a bar as well as a variety of sports going on in the warmth. On my return, other hotel guests were making use of the self service bar and front terrace. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with a wide choice of eggs served to order.

The bed was a bit soft for my liking. The room didn't come with air conditioning or a fan, which is not normally a problem but it was a warm humid night as sunshine became a thunderstorm. I did open the window but then had the outside noise. This wasn't a massive problem and I would certainly stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast, excellent location (fast reach to Traunsee, Grunberg and Gmunden). The hotel lies just next to the lakeside road and has a good view on the lake & mountains nearby. Wifi is free and fast, parking is just in front of the hotel. Recommended!

A bit noisy if you take one of the lake-view rooms but they have a nice scenery in exchange ;)

The staff was exceptionally friendly and caring! They gave us during the entire stay a very welcoming and warm feeling. They gave us tips for restaurants and what to see and gave us a room upgrade to enjoy the lake view. They offered help when needed in a natural and caring way. We will for sure come again as we loved staying here! Comfortable bed. Very clean room. Typical Austrian style. Amazing lake and mountain view.

You are able to hear people talking through the wall/door, but that is in such a beautiful and typical Austrian building to be expected.

The hotel is located on the shore of the lake. Very convenient location! There are many interesting places for walks and sports! Supermarket, promenade in a few minutes on foot! The hotel has many centuries of history. All rooms have a beautiful view of the lake or the mountains. The staff is very friendly! Breakfasts are delicious, the rooms are very clean!

Exceptional and very friendly staff, good breakfast, nice location with lot of points of interest nearby (restaurants, "beach area"...), free parking.

Door to the bathroom are just sliding ones, so cannot be really closed - I would prefer "normal" door that can be closed which prevents noise going from bathroom to bedroom while showering/flushing toilet, as our kid was sleeping in baby crib there in the bedroom.

I really like the place which is infront to the lake. the view is amazing! The breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly. I definitely recommend to everyone who wishes to spend holidays.

There's a construction going on close to hotel. I can hear workers hammering but it's not a big deal.

The location is too good. You have a beautiful view to the lake. On top of that the hotel offers free cycles, so, you can roam around and explore the place. Moreover, the rooms are very clean and cozy. The staff was really welcoming.

There is not really anything we didn't like except the heat in our room in the evening.
