the room was very spacious, and the location and view were amazing. The pool and spa were clean and well-maintained, and the view from the pool was simply breathtaking. The hotel’s restaurant was lovely, with delicious food, and the breakfast was exceptionally good. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay.

When we checked in, we noticed a few issues, such as used towels on the hanger and some marks in the room. We contacted reception, and they promptly sent someone to clean. The staff handled the matter quickly and professionally, which we appreciated. The only downside was that the room did not have an air conditioner.

The 2 restaurants are excellent, the rooms are beautiful, I recommend families to take a connecting room. The view is amazing (preferably a room overlooking the lake).

The hotel is relatively far from points of interest, I would recommend 2 nights, no more.

Breakfast spread par to none we enjoyed and ever so friendly and helpful staff. The location on the shore of the Traunsee and easy access to the lakes of the Salzkammergut. Would highly recommend the boat trip around the lake and a must visit to Gmunden on one end of the lake with its castles and villas of the nobility’s of now and past. Not to forget a visit to Hallstatt and the summer residence of the Emperor’s of Austria and Hungary in Bad Ischl. Salzburg the birthplace of Mozart with a visit to the castle and the list goes on.

Couldn't find any faults, comments regarding parking is irrelevant as the situation is the nature of the beast. Space and access is very limited to say the least.

We had an amazing stay at Post am See Traunkirchen! The hotel is stylish, elegant, and beautifully designed, with great attention to detail. Everything feels carefully thought out and of high quality. Our room had a stunning view of the lake, which made our mornings unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming, and we truly felt cared for. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely love to come back!

The location is amazing - the views are so picturesque! The staff are very nice and friendly, and even helped us fix the wheelchair when my wheel fell off! They give you good advice on what to see in the area and coupons. From Traunkirchen you can easily reach all other lakes (if you want to). The new spa on the top floor is luxurious and breathtaking. Breakfast is very good! Coffee is great. Loved that you can install apps on the TV, so I could watch a live TV channel from home and watch the news. So cool! Fast Wi-Fi.

There is no AC in the room. They said they have something that cools down the walls, but we just didn't feel anything, and it was really hot (30+ degrees Celsius). The room with the view is set in a way that you can watch the view on the lake from the bed. However it leaves less space in the room, which was a bit less comfortable for me with a wheelchair. I was missing some salads for breakfast and I wished that the guy who prepares the eggs would speak English, as I just couldn't explain anything to him.

Really nice hotel (we stayed in the back building) with good design which is not very common in Austria. The room was very nice, the view fantastic, bed, pillow and blanket surely above local standards, very comfortable. The breakfast was also great. And we also liked Beleatage restaurant on the first floor - really good food and design (little tired and unwelcoming appearance from outside).

The spa area was way too busy. We had adults only room so we were confused if the hotel is kids frienly or not and did not find it out, but we expected adults only hotel from our booking conditions - little disapointment in the swimming pool, hard to properly relax. The service was ok, they tried to be helpful and some of them were, English and attitude was sometimes an issue. The hotel is very nice so I am noting what should be improved for the highest standard ... but was definitely the best experience in Austria we had during last 20 years. Worth going.

Excellent breakfast, interesting restaurant and bar option, the Beletage on the first floor and especially considering the neigboring Boatshouse Restaurant.

no information on the Spa at check-in, Spa is poorly sign posted and no reception desk. Nobody advised us that there is a proper sauna / steam section at the very far end of the relaxation lounge on floor 6. The sauna and steam etc. closes at 8pm, a very strange timing for a resort hotel where most guest are doing outdoor activities, sailing, hiking, skiing in winter, during the day and would not return until 6pm...

Location was fabulous with spectacular views! Awesome views! Very cosy bar and restaurant area. Welcome drink was a lovely touch and bar staff friendly and eager to chat. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of variety! Our room had a great view at the front but it did get hot, so we opened the window but the noise from the car park travelled throughout the night so just remember noise travels up and so does the people talking as they left the bar and restaurant. Also, a kettle in the room would be a nice extra. Pillows far too flimsy but again nearly all of Europe seem to have these and no pillow selection which is a shame. Overall though great place to Stay!

The location and view of Traunsee is stunningly beautiful. The Spa in the top floor is perfectly designed and offers a beautiful view to the lake and mountain scenery. The evening dinners in the Bell Étage were very special. We sat on bar stools with direct view of the kitchen activities. The cook explained in great detail about the interesting and appetizing items on the menu.

The background music was annoying and often too loud. During breakfast, normal conversation was not possible. Constant unnecessary background music, even in the relaxing spa rooms.

Breakfast selection and quality was absolutely amazing, room was spacious, and fully equipped with what we need and more! Facilities were better than expected, you cannot miss its swimming pool, sauna, morning yoga sessions, and also the location of where it is located right across Traunsee. We also managed to kayak on our last day, it was absolutely breathtaking.

It is difficult to come without a car and thankfully we came with a car. You might need to think how you'd come without one as it is quite a distance from the train station.
