From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We were shown to our room, and offered assistance with our luggage both on arrival and departure. Everywhere was spotless, from the moment we walked into reception we could see the standard was high. Breakfast was seamless (everyone had a table reserved) and there was a great selection. We stayed in a junior suite which benefited from a lovely little terrace overlooking the lake. The room had everything we could need. The location of the property was also great, we parked the car up and walked everywhere for the 3 days of our stay.

This is a family hotel run by a caring and attentive couple. Superb location, great room, fabulous breakfast. The hotel goes above and beyond to keep you informed about what to do in the area. The whole experience feels "polished" in a very good way. Loved every aspect of our stay.

Parking is on the street and you need to pay the normal hourly rate. It works via an app so it's a minor hassle but I'm not sure if there are always available spots in the high season (we were there at new year's time). There's only breakfast available (it's excellent), the hotel has no restaurant otherwise, and it's a good 10-15 minute walk to get to eat.

This hotel has great location, close to city center, right on the lake and it’s also very quiet. The room was spacious and had a balcony as well, that you can use during spring and summer. Breakfast was great with good selection and amazing desserts and sweet pastries. The staff were very friendly and communicative.

The only two things we missed: is a kettle in the room for tea/coffee and more egg options during breakfast. There was only hard boiled eggs every day and two kinds of cheese and ham, so after few days it gets too repetitive.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The property is exceptionally clean and rooms are to a high standard. The breakfast is varied and well presented. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it was quiet and only a ten minute walk to the beautiful town of Gmunden. This is a family run hotel and the owners work there along with an exceptional team of staff, who organised take away food for us, taxis and train schedules to visit other places in Austria.

In short: perfect hotel! Really nice and modern hotel, large and comfort rooms, very rich and tasty breakfast, location is also great - 10 minutes from the center of Gmunden. The staff are very (very) kind and helpful. We would definitely return.

The hotel was tiny which created an approachable family atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The highlight has to be the breakfast, beyond the 4 star quality you get anywhere else.

Our room’s terrace didn’t have a roof, so we couldn’t use it on the rainy days. For the price, the hotel is missing some services like a pool or sauna available for the smaller rooms.

Lovely family hotel overlooking the lake. The owners of the hotel are very hospitable. All staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are fully renovated. Our room with sauna was big and comfortable, with large and convenient bed . Good wi-fi . Good breakfast. Tasty coffee ☕️ In all hotel is very clean.

Would have liked to have a kettle and tea in the superior room.

Visiting the area for a factory acceptance test of new piece of equipment and found the hotel online. Great location, great staff, great stay! Would highly recommend

There was nothing not to like at this hotel

I only stayed one night at the hotel but everything was great. I was warmly welcomed at the check-in, the process was easy and smooth and i received all the information i needed. The room was spacious and clean and most importantly very quiet. Breakfast was fantastic, not too big but with great quality and just what i needed. Next visit in Gmunden i will definitely stay in this hotel.

Perfect location by the lake. Lets you enjoy swimming in the lake whenever you want. Exceptional breakfast. I am vegan and the staff went extra mile and served a special vegan breakfast for me every morning, on top of the generous buffet that is also available. I was super pleased having my coffee with the almond milk :)) They also have a convenient parking free of charge, and we also used the bike garage to store our bikes. Everyone is super friendly and professional. I think it's the best choice in Gmunden, so book now :)
