The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options, including vegetables, fruits, and sweets, providing everything you could want for a satisfying meal.

The hotel is centrally located, but there are two issues to consider. First, the hotel is situated above a supermarket, and guests in rear-facing rooms should be aware that a small parking lot behind the hotel is used by trucks arriving early in the morning to unload goods. This creates significant noise as the supermarket workers move the goods, which can disturb sleep. Second, parking at the hotel costs 14 euros per night. However, you can park on nearby streets for free overnight until 9:00 a.m., and by paying just 1 euro, extend parking until 10:50 a.m.

On the lake, great views. Room was comfortable and also had a fridge. When I asked for a kettle it was quickly supplied. The tram very close to hotel and takes only minutes to the train station ( you can buy a ticket on tram) Breakfast was excellent with many healthy choices. Breakfast room also has direct views of the lake.

Only a comment/observation, at breakfast the staff were very efficient, and provided a wonderful spread of fresh food, but did not warmly welcome guests. However when I had a query at reception they were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

It is the second time that we have stayed in this hotel. Last time it was during the summer, now it was during Christmas time. We had a room with a lake view. The room was big and comfortable, and the view was amazing, like always. The bed was very comfortable too. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of the town and in front of the lake. If you like Christmas markets, we highly recommend coming during the weekend. The breakfast is superb and the staff is helpful, always smiling and ready to help. It is one of our favourite places in Austria!

Hotel Esplanade is amazing. My room has no bathtub, just shower, but the view is facing the lake. Everything is super clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is warm at night inside the room and shower is great. The breakfast (starting 730am) was very good too. I would like to thank staff member Ms Day for making my stay wonderful.  The view from my room is great. Note the supermarket is at right downstairs the hotel. It is closed on Sunday but opens 715am on Monday so it is convenient. 

The sink/basin didn't work but everything else is absolutely great.

Very good quality breakfast. Very kind staff. The room was pretty big with a comfortable bed and with a wonderfull view of the lake from the window.

It would be great if there was an air conditioning in the room. Fortunately nights were getting colder during our stay but I think it can be a problem in hotter days. A bit weird entrance to the hotel at first impression but it wasn't a problem at all.

Room was spacious, clean and well set. Had small balcony. Lake view was amazing. Neighborhood was lively in the evening. Breakfast had a good spread. Car park in the basement with a charge of 17 euro. Separate bathroom and toilet. Towels were clean. Follow the car park location in google maps and its easy to get to the apartment.

Good location on the shore of the lake. Breakfast food was excellent. Room was spacious.

As the reception desk was not staffed after 3:00 p.m., it felt like a ghost house in the late afternoon and evening hours with no one around. The building was in the middle of some renovation works, as such, some inconveniences in getting in and out.

Top location, room overlooking the lake, exactly as the photos. Clean, spacious & quiet, had a good night sleep. Front desk Juliana was super lovely and sweet, gave us lots of information about what to see, where to eat, coffee and cakes..Really enjoyed Konditorei Grellinger cream-rolls, the best ever pastry !! Breakfast was good quality. Spar supermarket was below, I could buy some chocolate & bonbons conveniently ;-) We recommend the hotel and we too hope to be back again. See you Juliana :-)

Excellent breakfast and view from breakfast room.

Too hot in the room eventhough this was in spring. Streetview room had too much noise in the morning, for work it was ok but for vacation not nice to be awake due to supermarket delivery at 6:00 every morning.

Very good room. Well maintained. Very nice breakfast

The weather was hot, and there's no aircondition, so you had to keep the balcony door wide open while there was constant noise of the happening across the hotel.
