Dining was definitely the highlight! Compliments for the chef and kitchen staff! We were also happy with the cleanness of the room and the hotel as well as the facilities available. Everyone was helpful, flexible and kind. Lastly an other guest took our keys, when we were in the sauna. Fortunately hotel staff was kind and fast enough to help, so we could get in to our room.
Parking situation was not ideal due to the uncleaned roads, and it was slippery to walk to the car. Also our room was facing the parking cars, which seemed not to be unique, but this was a surprise. We did not need too much view this time, given we were mostly not in our room, so it was OK. Lastly we had to wait for the receptionist quite some time to be able to check in, when we arrived.

The hotel is situated above the city of Filzmoos the view is remarkable. Breakfast and Dinner are just delicious. We are vegetarians but still found quite a variety. Dinner is a 4 course meal served to the table which is very efficient way of Dining. The staff is very helpful. The swimming pool is not very big but one can relax there, and the Saunas are also very relaxing. Overall a wondeful hotel to stay
The room was not very big. The balcony was very nice but it is an open space with the neighbors so there is no privacy.

Great value for money. Wonderful views. Excellent breakfast and dinner with vegetarian options. We were very impressed with the quality and quantity of food. Great facilities for kids and adults.
Staff in restaurant were hot and cold - it was unclear how choosing dinner options work and we were told off for not having ordered at breakfast. My tip if you are going: you have to circle your order in the menu on your table during breakfast and give the number of orders. I was threatened with not having a dinner at all for not knowing even though we weren’t told! It was fine, I got food. Still the ladies were so rude. But they were nice once we knew what to do the next day. Very confusing. Also the rooms are not sound proof - we were woken up by a group of people coming back to the hotel drunk at 2am. You could hear loud door banging, laughter, and shouting.

the hotel was Available for New year stay at acceptable price level Newly equipped large gym and nice wellness zone/pool area. Great view into the valley of Filzmoos from the restaurant Skibus station near hotel (winter trip) People (staff) were friendly.
Walk from village centre nearly impossible in winter - better to go by car only. Not purely Austrian atmosphere - we felt like it is run for business on rent. People did amazing job (performance) but you miss the kindness of family type hotels where you feel better "home welcome"... Terribly noisy door closing - most of the room doors were just impossible to close easily, you had to hit the door (a lot of noise) - a refurbishment or maintenance strongly recommended. sauna switched off heat at 20:00 already, although operation claimed till 21:00 Safety - anybody could pickup any room key when left at reception - people behind reception were changing or missing sou you had to seek someone in bar or restaurant, but they had other parallel task (no permanent receptionist).

The staff were extreemly nice and pleasant. The spa is really good. Location wise is not right in the center, but has a wonderful view of village and mountains. There are even sunbeds outside to enjoy the good weather and the view. Very clean hotel. The food is excellent, and we really enjoyed every meal.:)
Breakfast starts at 7:30 am which is inconvenient given that Filzmoos is famous for hiking and starting hiking early especially in the summer time. The owner was not willing to accommodate us with a bit earlier starting time of the breakfast instead we have received the lunch bag the night before. Other hotels were willing to make that kind of exception for people in our hiking group. On the positive side, the rest of the staff were really understandable and accommodated us at least with the coffee 15 minutes earlier. :)

The food was amazing - excellent breakfast and dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we had some extra requests regarding gluten free food and kids' menu and they considered all of our wishes. They have a nice hotel terrace and a bar with reasonable prices. The hotel's location is great for the surrounding hikes.
We liked everything.

On the whole I would say this hotel provides exceptional value. Filzmoos is the quietest resort we’ve experienced in The Alps; less developed and unspoilt. The hotel is uphill, a 5 to 10 minute walk from the village centre, so has a lovely view down the valley towards the mountains. The four-course meal was generally outstanding, and some of the meals were the best we’ve ever had on holiday. The breakfast buffet had a broad selection; probably the best we’ve had in Austria. The pool was heated and the spa facilities were excellent, with a beautiful outlook. My son used the gym which had more equipment than any other hotel I can remember. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite (with a special thanks to Susie and Zoran). Our room was a decent size and the mattresses were comfortable; not too firm, not too soft.
This hotel gets all the important things right, but there are a few minor things that would take it to a 10. Some guests will get a beautiful view of the valley and mountains from their balcony but others won’t. Unfortunately, our view was over parked cars at the front of the hotel, with no privacy as people walked by. That said, we were given the best table in the restaurant which compensated. Alcoholic drinks are reasonably priced but the cost of water was about ten times the supermarket price. The pool is relatively small so you have to expect to be splashed in the face when children dive-bomb in. The hotel allows pets so you have to expect the occasional sound of barking dogs in the morning and evening.

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel. I think the hotel has probably the best views of the surrounding area compared to any other hotel. The food is excellent with excellent service from the vast majority of the staff, the spa was wonderful with stunning views. We will undoubtedly come here again and again. My wife and I fell in love with the place.
Unfortunately, one member of staff (mostly as barman) was occasionally quite rude to us (for example raising his voice at us turning his eyes), especially as we could not converse very well in German. This was the only spoiling experience of the whole holiday.

Beautiful setting great food and fabulous breakfast choice
Dining room too crowded and very hot - very strict about where you sat in the dining room - it would have been nicer to have been a bit more relaxed and able to have choice of sitting inside or outside particularly in the summer time when v.hot

The view is very nice. (Village view) The staff were very accommodating. The room is considered a bit spacious and welcoming, balcony was nice and the room service was good enough.
The owner guy who was in the last day of my stay was a nice person but was a bit defensive, unlike the rest of the hotel family who were more welcome and more understanding.
