Free parking available very close to the hotel, just ask at reception. The location was great, our room was overlooking the Christmas market. It was very quiet during our stay, the swimming pool had incredible views and the water was perfect temperature. We had a great relaxing stay. Breakfast was included and was brilliant, lots of choice available. Would definitely stay again!

Instructions for parking were not clear, we spent a long time driving around looking for a space before we learned that the hotel has its own dedicated parking round the back. That information would have saved a lot of stress in the busy car park beforehand :)

The penthouse indoor stainless steel pool is the most elegant pool we have ever experienced. Complement that stunning 270 degree swimming view with changing rooms, a wonderful hot rain shower, and a warm old world hotel sporting a lovely and large breakfast room with baloney seating. This longtime family run tradition for a $200 deal was a most comfortable delight.

Slightly worn in some areas of the main floor but the hotel has been there so long what can you expect. The wear matches the modest grandeur of this stately hotel with an oh so elegant top floor swimming pool with wraparound views.

Perfect hotel, very polite and nice staff. In a hot midday after a long ride, gave me the room hours before the checkin time. The room was comfortable, and the restaurant and breakfast were great, especially if you get there early to have a chance to get a table on the balcony. But the pool and spa area were exceptional. Swimming in the pool on the sixth floor with a full view of mountains in a hot summer day was a nice experience.

Friendly staff of the morning shift. Spa area. Historical building in the heart of Lienz and close to the shopping area. Room clean and spacious with a well refurbished bath.

I preferred the morning staff instead of the evening one because it wasn't at the reception when I arrive. I try to call them but they didn't answer me even if they were outside the hotel and looked at me my when I come into the building. Old green carpet in the stairs and aisles.

It was an absolutely amazing overnight stay. Hotel is in the very centre of the city surrounded by astonishing mountains. And you can enjoy almost 360 view from the indoor pool on the top floor. We had a great rest

Nothing to mention what could be of an crucial importance.

A really nice place to stay in an excellent location. The room was very large and had some really nice period furniture. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a great range of food and good coffee. Its major selling point was the pool and sauna with panoramic views, which we used to escape the rain one evening.

Nothing to dislike, but it is worth noting that the hotel is in the town’s main square so you do get some background noise until about 10pm.

Swimming pool, quet room, comfy beds, good air quality, we slept well, environmentally friendly approach, good restaurant suggestion by the staff

Just little things - scrambled eggs could be kept warmer, but otrlherwose breakfast was fine

Nice hotel with super friendly staff. It is in the middle of the town and the pool area is on the top floor with an unobstructed view to the mountains. Breakfast was also quite good and the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious.

Fantastic staff, pool and spa facilities with a very good breakfast. Great Location for our needs with secure parking close by.
