We stayed for 3 nights, as the location suited our travel plans to visit places of interest. The room was large, comfortable, clean, with a balcony and a mountain view. The staff is helpful and very pleasant. As we were travelling for 10 days, we needed laundry service - the staff was tolerant and allowed us to use the hotel's laundry room, even though the hotel does not need such service. Thank you very much for our own cleanliness :)

The hotel’s location is perfect for ski enthusiasts like us 🎿, with a free shuttle bus 🚌 to the slopes, making our trips effortless and enjoyable. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable 🧼, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere after a day in the snow ❄️. What truly stood out was the warmth and friendliness of the staff 😊. They went above and beyond, notably when they prepared a fresh pizza 🍕 for my kids after missing dinner time. Such acts of kindness made our stay feel special ❤️. Reliability is another strength of Hotel Sonnhof. When in need, the staff promptly helped us arrange transportation 🚕, showcasing their dedication to guest satisfaction. While Hotel Sonnhof isn’t about luxury, it shines in comfort, value for money 💸, and genuine hospitality 🤝. It’s an excellent choice for anyone seeking a straightforward, pleasant stay in Mühlbach. The rooms are not luxury, and are not intended as such, but great value for money

The hotel is perfectly situated with the ski bus stop conveniently located right in front of the building. The ski room is well-equipped with heated racks for boots, which is a fantastic addition. The restaurant also offers delicious food.

One downside was that the temperature in the rooms and throughout the entire facility was too high, making it a bit uncomfortable, especially when trying to sleep.

Lovely atmospheric hotel with superb location both for exploring Hochkonig Region (the free bus stop in the front of the hotel) and other attractions. Spacious rooms with great facilities in the rooms and the bathroom ( big wardrobe, spacious bathroom cabinet, hairdryer in the room among the other things are a big plus). Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast buffet - big plus for menu variety, which slightly changes everyday.

The restaurant at the hotel did not offer meals in the evening, while we stayed. (except of snacks and drinks). Which let us to explore the surroundings - there is a restaurant 5min walk from the hotel.

The hotel’s location is absolutely stunning with breathtaking views. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was enjoyable. The room itself was a bit dated in style, but overall comfortable and functional.

There were quite a few flies around, including at breakfast. However, this seemed to be a general issue in most places we visited during our trip, not just at the hotel.

Lovely hotel, excellent food (dinner and breakfast) and service. Amazing shower! Comfortable and clean rooms. Nice hikes nearby. I would stay again if i was in the area.

The room description said it has a fan but it didn't, and it was very hot. There was also a bit of confusion over the breakfast payment, which was awkward, but i think that was an error through booking.com.

The Highlight was the friendliness and authentic warm-hearted hospitality by the owners along with their team who all provided a welcoming atmosphere 😀 we definitely recommend thos place to stay!

Facilities were a bit older but still working very well and the value for money was great

We have found an absolute 💎 of a place to stay. We arrived an hour late for our check in and we were welcomed with a smile and a very warm welcome. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and everyone was so friendly, actually made us feel like we were part of the family and not just a customer! THANK YOU. Friendly staff. Daily room cleaning. Sauna and breakfast included. Tasty food. Possibility to order dinner. 10 min driving by car from the ski resort. Ski bus stop just near the hotel. Large bed and sofa as well. Parking near the hotel. Ski equipment drying room exist.

The hotel is great. Located quite high and therefore needs some time to drive up the mountain. Not much to do around the hotel itself, but the facilities in it offer a relaxed evening indoors. In winter with snowy roads, one need tire chains for your car to get up there.
