The hotel is in St. Pölten’s center - you can see everything on foot. We were impressed by old town building, interior, you can feel the history in there :) Thw room was clean, cosy ant comfortable for 4 people. The check in is super simple - thats superb if you come in to place in late hours. The staff is very kind and helpful - our daughter left her beloved Teddy in the room.. they had sent it to us back to Lithuania. We were impresed. I recommend this place!

The kindness of a hotel staff. I don’t know if the men working at the reception is the owner of hotel, but I had a car issue and he was so kind to call a million of friends to get one, that came in 5minutes. He stayed with me for two hours to fix the issue and didn’t even want to take anything in return for favour. Such a nice and kind men, definitely will reture to this place if I am in St. Polten again.

I did like the fact that both the manager and the cleaning assistant responded quite fast to my requests. I got a room with numerous impairments, like semi-broken sofa and a water stuck in the shower, and this was fixed in les than 24 hours. The breakfast was quite good. The location is very convenient. The fact that there was a carpet on the room's floor was fantastic (in really saves a life in the cold times).

I would expect the staff to at least air the rooms and/or aromatize them before the new guests come just to show some more respect. Also the hotel should undergo some reno as the furniture already smells bad due to being outdated.

So a little quirky this one. No one on reception when you arrive but you are given an access code to get in to the foyer. The same access code then releases your room key from a panel. It all worked fine. My room was clean if a little dated but perfectly matched the price I paid. I took breakfast the following morning which was staffed and the breakfast room was immaculate. You could have eaten from the floor ! All in all an ideal stopover on my way home. I would definitely use this hotel again as it was nice and quiet and only an 8 minute walk from the train station through a pedestrianised zone.

The room could do with brightening up a little. Get the guy who did the restaurant !!

The owner was friendly and helpful. Self check-in worked properly although the referring mail arrived too late. This may not be owners fault but mails for this cases it should be sent from Booking.com at least one day in advance to make sure the information can be accessed early enough and to avoid additional phone calls. WiFi worked well even on the end of the upper most floor. My (single) room was very small, having not too much luggage is better. No problem for just a weekend. Public parking is free on weekends. The hotel's location is in waking distance to the main places like the minster or the town hall square. That's great.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location, rich breakfast. The balcony and the view from it was really enjoyable.

Good ratio quality-price. The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are spacious, although the carpet and the style is a throwback from the seventies. Mine had a balcony overlooking the main street, which was a real treat.

More variety of fruit at the breakfast buffet.

the smell ^^^ they used a kind of cleaner that has it smell like a swimming pool 😲 I even had direct access to the balcony from my room

only thing I could criticize is the price of breakfast. I didn't realize that it wasn't included in my booking and the 10€ euro it cost were a little steep imo

Good breakfast, we had what we needed. The room was a bit outdated but comfortable and clean. The location was great, in the town centre. Lots of road works, but was on a Sunday so was quiet.

So, there was no AC(in the booking.com page says that there is). Also, the room had very old furniture and they didn't even have a fridge! It isn't worth even 10 EUR. Anyway, I'm giving 5 stars in order to encourage them to do better. I hope they read these comments!
