Excellent location near the airport and the shore. Two nice restaurants within walking distance. We got two rooms, both beautiful and overlooking the pool. We only stayed there one night before moving on to another island, but it would be a great location to explore Nassau. The best part was the staff. We had arranged a very early morning pick up through booking.com. The provider canceled around 10:00 at night. I didn't see the text until after midnight and had to make arrangements with the front desk. They were awesome! The night clerk took us to the airport (charged us a reasonable fee, or course) very early the next morning. That's service! Highly recommended!

This boutique hotel was very fun and stylish with colonial looking architecture and furnishings. The view to the ocean was great, and the pool area quite nice. We ordered breakfast on the terrace. The foliage around was nice except there was a vacant lot to one side so that view was kind of barren on that end of the hotel but it was off to the side.

I had to wear a face mask at night because it was pretty bright outside the room but I am also very affected by light when I am sleeping. A noisy reataraunt at night down the hill but if you shut your slider you can hardly hear it.

Breakfast and water should have been included. Tea/Coffee making facilities should be in every room. Lack of staff on arrival to carry very heavy suitcases.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its location is ideal, being very close to the airport, which made my arrival and departure extremely convenient. Despite its proximity to the airport, the area is incredibly quiet, providing a peaceful retreat away from the bustling and busy city. One of the highlights of my stay was the access to nearly deserted beaches, just a short distance from the hotel. It was a perfect escape to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. Additionally, there are numerous small restaurants within walking distance, offering a variety of dining options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a tranquil stay with easy access to both the airport and beautiful, quiet beaches.

We stayed at the hotel for only a short time, but it was enough to have a truly positive experience. First and foremost, our check-in had to be done at 10 PM due to a significant delay with Bahamasair. The front desk staff - DAVRIAN - warmly welcomed us and even arranged for a pizza since we were starving. At checkout, they provided us with fresh fruit, even though breakfast service hadn’t started yet. The hotel offers airport transfers and rides to other areas of Nassau at a very reasonable price. While the building and furniture are a bit dated, this actually adds a certain charm to the hotel. Throughout our stay, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. We highly recommend the Ocean West Boutique Hotel!

The property is a former villa set up above the ocean, and so you get the charm of a long-ago era. The glorious architecture and decor feels so wonderful. The staff were amazingly nice and helpful. The views from the Emerald Room were awesome. Easy walk to the beach, with two nice nearby restaurants.

The hotel did everything right. But: If you want to be by downtown or a walking around area you probably need a car. There's a small hill going up to the property from the beach and restaurants, so may be an issue for people with mobility issues.

Very nice (but not cheap, but well, it's Nassau!), clean Hotel up the hill near the beach. We had a small room in the basement, everything was fine and working correctly. The staff was charming and very helpfull. I fully recommend this Hotel. Breakfast is à la carte and typically US. Good beach nearby (with a car): Love Beach.

Only the bed was narrow and the mattress was a bit too soft. Unfortunately our neighbour turned up the TV volume in the middle of the night, but we could clarify this... The hotel location is only accessible by car.

Noce view of the sea from the balcony and the pool. very comfortable bed. Airport pick-up was convenient. Staff was very helpful. Proximity of the Sapodilla restaurant very much appreciated.

Quite pricy (but it’s the Bahamas) and feels a bit empty in the corridors. The breakfast was minimal and no restaurant service otherwise. Check-out time was on the dot, which always makes one feel like they’re about to be kicked out. Also, impossible to turn off the TV without unplugging it (otherwise the screen remains somewhat lit).

The breakfast was very good and served in my room and I could book the same room as last year. The view from my room was beautiful, looking out over the pool area to the sea in the distance.

The only problem for me were the stairs but as I booked a room on the griund floor that only was a problem when I checked in. When I checked out my bill was brought to my room. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much for them. Also the hotel provided a ride to and from the airport.

Very friendly staff. The swimming pool was nice and there is a small bar with some (pricey) drinks. The a la carte breakfast was also very good but also slightly pricey. But then again, New Providence is crazy expensive anyways because of all the cruiseships and resorts with many tourists. There are very nice bars/grills nearby called Da Plantation & Sunset Beach Club.

The location to downtown is quite far off hence a taxi is 30-40$ to nassau. But there are also public buses which take you there for 1,50$.
