We used this as a stopover night when driving from France back to the Netherlands. There was a warm reception by the staff and the key was prepared for us. We had a good view of the garden. The Kasteel had a nice setting with well appointed rooms with comfortable beds - you could walk in the grounds and after a long drive that was important. The breakfast was good quality and included in the price. It had a restaurant with a good food with a friendly, knowledgeable waiter set in a lovely wood panelled dining room and in the summer there would be outdoor dining. Car parking was plentiful and easy access.

Not much, we used the stairs and werent offered a lift but we had very little luggage - it would be worth checking with the owners if there is help if you need it. I would expect that to be the case. The restaurant was very good just a bit more expensive than we had got used to paying in France and portion sizes increased!! There will be other options but you will have to drive or cycle.

The building and the setting is beautiful. A lovely garden out back with a pond that has a lost in time appeal. The room was comfortable and clean. The owner, Luc, and his son were super attentive and professional. And the food was superb! I would return just to eat dinner here.

I have no complaints at all. I'm grateful this hotel was where it is and that they had a room available. It was a 30-minute drive to Brussels airport and that suited our plans just fine.

I loved my spacious room and beautiful bathroom. I felt really welcome, and the staff was very friendly. It's a wonderful fairytale location, peacefully surrounded by trees and nature. Looking forward to coming back!

I really enjoyed the elaborate breakfast and possibility for fried eggs or omelet, but some bacon would have made it perfect :-)

It’s a very nice small hotel located in a rural area. Very tranquil. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The food at the restaurant is excellent. Big on-site parking lot. It was a pleasure to stay there. Thank you!

All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful -- both at the reception and when serving breakfast. Breakfast was tasty and offered lots of choice. The room was very quiet.

The hotel was difficult to reach via email. Better call if you need a quick answer. The restaurant was not available for dinner, unfortunately, so we had to walk/drive ~3 km downtown, where it was difficult to find a seat on a busy day. If you plan to have dinner at the hotel, better check in advance.

Breakfast was excellent - a large assortment of all that one could ask for. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were polite, very helpful .... all good. Yes, I can certainly recommend the hotel.

Love the quaintness of the hotel. The staff made me feel right at home. The evening meal I had was exceptional. It was a peaceful evening and I had a great night’s sleep. Will most definitely return.

A hotel set in a beautiful building in the Belgium countryside, surrounded by country lanes and green fields. Building is pleasant but for me, what made the stay exceptional was the staff. My friends and I were made to feel like we were the most important people in the hotel, greeted at reception, room keys ready, escorted to our rooms and then our host had took the liberty to book us a table for dinner in the hotel, which is exactly what we had planned. Food was amazing, they will make changes to the menu to suit your requirements and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms, I stayed in Zagreb, was massive, well decorated but most of all VERY comfortable.

There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel. If I was to mention anything, it would be nice to have a door fitted to the bathroom as the room has four mirrors so when you look across from your bed it looks like someone is looking back at you! Other than that, a beautiful hotel run by a very nice group of people.

No air con which is understandable for an old property. It was very humid so a fan would have been useful. A summer duvet would have been better than the very thick one.

Friendly staff, nice property, pittoresk location, delicious breakfast (wide variety of choices and quality products)

For the moment it is not possible to rent a double room in the main building (something we were not aware off upfront, a minor thing as the room we got was excellent too)
