Fantastic location, easy to park and a few minutes walk into this really nice town. Our room no.32 was top floor and on the corner so was very peaceful and had great views over the river - we could just hear gushing water and ducks quacking! Breakfast was great - coffee was good, there were scrambled eggs and bacon and the mini chocolate eclairs were outstanding. The only improvement I would suggest was some fresh tomatoes, cucumber etc. The young staff were really nice.

The Wi-Fi in our room was very slow, the bed was a bit hard and the bathroom a little dated, but everything else was so nice that wouldn’t stop us staying again.

The staff was wonderful. The hotel has beautifully renovated an old mill directly off of the bike path. We were traveling by bicycle and the hotel has a special storage shed for keeping the bikes overnight. The breakfast was excellent. The gluten-free bread was delicious. The view of the canal from the room was pleasant.

The walls were thin so we heard a fair amount of noise when other guests were in the hallway.

The location of this hotel is superb! Walking distance to quaint shops, restaurants, and the scenery is beautiful. The rustic rooms over the river were scenic and relaxing to sit and snack on local cheeses and wine while looking out over the Demer River. The breakfast was very good! Lots of variety from eggs and bacon to brie and cold cuts. Absolutely loved it! The hotel is well kept, clean and the restaurant had a delightful menu of tasty entrees.

The beds were sooooo hard and uncomfortable. I stayed for a week and had back pain for a week after. The staff was nice but not very personable.

The room was nice, and the entire place appears to have been recently renovated. It was very clean. The breakfast was really well done, with lots of good options.

It would be nice when there are two beds in the room to not have them only a few inches apart. We had to move the beds to get a decent space between them.

The stay was perfect for what we needed. The neighborhood of the hotel is very beautiful, the room is comfortable, clean, bright. It's not luxurious, it's simple but cozy. I thought the renovation was very beautiful. Overlooking a river, with a brasserie with a veranda facing the water. Breakfast is very good, above average, with a variety of breads, croissant, yogurt, juice, fruit. In Belgium they rarely tear down old buildings. They have made good use of this old building with a beautiful renovation, with an annexe (done very often in old buildings in the country). I found it cozy and they deserved to have a booking score above 9.

It's a very unique property (an old mill) which makes for a quiet and relaxing stay. The rooms are basic yet comfortable. If you're looking for a hotel in the region it's a great place. Good restaurant both at the hotel and several others within a short walk. For cyclists there are several great routes in the area and the Sven Nys Center is nearby.

Parking is limited if you arrive in the evenings.

The hotel was charming and in a great location. The staff was super helpful and even offered to help me bring my to-go order from the hotel restaurant up to my room. The food was great and the breakfast was delicious with lots of options.

You can hear noise from the hallway but it didn’t disturb my sleep or anything

Have stayed here several times for both work and holiday, it is a very nice hotel. Unique atmosphere in the old mill, quiet, not fancy but comfortable. Clean, good location.

Parking is limited, depending on arrival time be prepared for finding parking somewhere nearby.

Comfy beds, amazing breakfast, really clean, near the train station and bus stops!

There often wasn't anyone at reception when we needed something. The rooms dont have fridges which is a shame.

Beautiful stylish building with great ambiance and food and wine were excellent

Only grumbles were that the key code to get in wasn’t explained properly- it wasn’t clear what to press before or after the numbers and we were stuck outside in the rain for a bit - and they wouldn’t serve us tap water. Food was excellent but portions far too large.
