Initially, the property was willing to store our luggage (bike boxes) for 4 weeks. And they had a great place for bikes to be left while we were there. Pieter and his team are awesome. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room is spacious and updated. Great bathrooms. Breakfast was the best in 5 weeks. Fresh salad. The location is ideal. 150 meters from the station. A simple train ride from the airport to Leuven, walk a short distance, and you are there. This was the best place we stayed in 5 weeks cycling in Belgium and France. To anyone, stay here vs. Brussels. Better value and Leuven is awesome.

Location and room overall was really good with a nice view to train station. Room was spacious and modern with everything one might need. Breakfast was also really good with wide selection.

Room was really stuffy and warm, even opening windows fully didn't help (and it was only around 21 degrees outside). Staff was nice about late check in but in overall stay they weren't overly friendly and not very communicative. For example in the middle of night some kind of an alarm went off and there was no information/help with that even the next day. Fortunately some other guests were able to figure things out.

Check-in: an automated system email asked us to use the electronic check in at the link. There was no link. another email generated at the same time provided a link. The link was not active. Several messages were wasted. Everything was fine. In-person check-in was quick and simple, at about 2145. The room was clean, in good decorative repair and the beds were comfortable. I invited a friend for breakfast. The nightstaff informed me it cost 17.50, but it was luxurious and included champagne. Because of a miscommunication from nightstaff, that breakfast was cut short. When I persisted in pointing it out to the breakfast staff we were offered champagne. I shrugged, but drank and enjoyed the champagne when it arrived. The whole package was good value. The breakfast was most definitely not luxurious.

The room had been aired. Good? No. The ambient temperature outside was about 30 degrees. The temperature in the stairwell was much cooler. The room was roasting. There was no air conditioning. I'd been looking forward to breakfast. When we arrived it had been going for forty minutes. Several items were missing (eggs, bacon). I asked where they were. More were provided later. The quality was not *luxurious*.

It is very close to the train station, therefore very convenient. The rooms were quite clean. The staff was nice, smiling. I was studying for an exam and therefore asked for coffee. They gave me a big glass of coffee with extra biscuits, very kind of them! A side note; in the front there is a restaurant. I was not sure if it was the hotel entrance or not. Don't get puzzled by it, that is the entrance of the hotel. They will help you.

I was ok with it but some rooms are upstairs and there are many stairs. If you are having a problem with the stairs you may ask for more info.

Very good breakfast, alot of variety although I didn't see any plant based milk available but I brought my own so this wasn't a problem. They had vegan butter which was good to see. The room was really adequate for a small single person like me. Easy access in and out of the hotel and really convenient location right infront of the rail station with the room view of the station itself.

Perhaps some more plant based options at breakfast for those who are vegan would be good as they'd be very limited otherwise.

Right across from the main station, with its own excellent restaurant, which also serves a great breakfast. This time my room was spacious. Family run, staff also went out of their way to facilitate me entering late. Big thanks! + The building is original and has character + Guests can help themselves to coffee and tea 24/7 for free. + One of the best breakfast buffets. + Excellent restaurant-authentic Belgian

The decor and communual part of the hotel could do with some attention. Being authentic it has step stairs to navigate and no lift. You need to be sure footed. Good exercise though!

Great hotel with a great location, next to the train station. It was convenient for us because we use the train almost every day. The staff in the hotel are very kind and professional, the food was great, and we enjoyed our tour in Leuven.

The steps in the hotel, because we ate a lot during the Christmas so it was hard to climb the stairs, but we managed it😎

I have stayed here a few times, and I think I always will when visiting Leuven as it's good value and very close to the station and only a 12-minute walk to the beautiful centre. The breakfast is very good.

There used to be a kettle in the rooms but not anymore, even though the room facilities state 'tea/coffee maker'. There is a hot drinks machine in the restaurant which can be used for free which is nice, but would be even better if kettle was in the room.

Wonderful Continental breakfast buffet, great location, helpful staff. Very good restaurant with traditional Belgian food. Amazingly quiet, considering that is is on the square across from the train and bus stations. We enjoyed a festival the day we arrived from our windows, and the view of the square on other days.

This is a lovely old building, with a narrow winding staircase and no elevator. The manager kindly carried our heavy bags upstairs and down again. It is an ideal place for able-bodied people traveling light, with backpacks or small suitcases. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms; fortunately it was cool during our stay and opening the windows kept the temperature pleasant.

Nicely renovated, big room with comfortable beds! Very good value for money. Great location- opposite the train station, but with double windows the room was very quiet! Excellent and very generous breakfast!! The staff was very nice and helpful. Late check out- 12:00

A kettle in the room could be a nice addition. And also no elevator... so some sters to climb but it was not so hard.
