Location was great. Nice to have kitchen that had all the necessary items such as pots, pans, plates, etc. Quiet. Safe. Having an elevator was really nice. The signs on the wall, explaining the rental policies. Maps and other local information in the entrance.

No heat. Not enough lighting in the main room/living room. No directions for where to put the trash since our bag got full and how to get another bag. One of the chairs at the table was unsteady. There was a lamp in the bedroom between the beds, but the outlet was too far away to plug it in. No towel(s) for the kitchen.

Great value for money, bigger than a hotel room, lovely quiet street.

The appartment on the 1st floor we took have a lot of space in a main room combined with the dinner place. Comfy sofa and a lot of light going throuh the day from the floor-to-ceiling window, which is very good protected from light at night with the curtains. Accessing to the appratments was easy with overprotected key-box and a key. Sound isolation from others and a corridor is decent enough.

Travelling by car. Unfortunately parking is not available, which is mentioned in the description, but street prices are too high. I strictly recommend to look into parking garage option which is 100+ meters from the location, it is underground, has the entrance gate, pretty much safe and much much much cheaper than the street parking. Check-out. Early check-out at 10 am is not convinient for the long distance/late arrivals. So we took paid (10 Euro) option to have late check-out at 1 pm. Good that it has such flexibility, bad that it is an extra fee for it.

we were lucky to have had a room in the shadow - the north - west side of the building, so that warm days, did not spoil our stay

a bit more investment in cheering up the appartement, would bring some atmosphere. A painting, a few pictures against the wall! The smell , these old buildings in Leuven, they have a problem... they come with a smell. Luckily, the smell stayed in the toilet and bathroom and did not spread throughout the room.

Location, ease of access, size of main area, large windows that opened and allowed light.

Shower, needs better shower head. Bathroom on the small side. No air con but windows compensate in the room for that. Lift could be cleaner.

We could book the place at the very last minute and check in was really flexible.

We suspect that the owner would turn off the electricity on their end when the room is not used so for people who book the place at the last minute at night, you will have to call the manager directly for help.

This was my first booking with BE Housing. Apartment was very neat and clean with all mentioned facilities very close to city centre. I highly recommend this place
