Firstly, we were not expecting the Ritz - this is a b&b (well, bed mostly no breakfast). This little b&b isn't the fanciest or quirky but is clean and functional with a lovely host who was super helpful. She's didn't speak great English but we got there. It is conveniently located between the station and the town square. There is a well equipped kitchen and seating for self catering on the first floor. I would stay there again - clean and tidy goes a long way.

On the down side, we had the ground floor room which had a curtain over the window - this partiality closed so some light came through this might be an issue. The bed sheets were very thin and we could see the mattress beneath which bothered me a bit (I'm a fan of a mattress protector).

This is a lovely house, in a great location - just a short, pleasant walk to the square. We are a family of 5 and had the entire house to ourselves. There is a great kitchen and dining area (a pleasant surprise), 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The rooms are not ensuite, but since we had the house to ourselves, that wasn't a problem. There is a ground floor bedroom and a ground floor bathroom. On the 2nd level is the kitchen and a bathroom. The other two bedrooms are on the top/3rd level. There was street parking that was convenient, and a stopping place close-by to unload. I'd definitely stay there again!

Someone who spoke English to greet us upon arrival would have been nice. There was a note on the door to knock a couple doors down, which we did, but the person didn't speak English. They were very kind to call someone on the phone who did speak English and who could interpret for us all. We were soon taken care of, and were very happy and comfortable.

The property was super clean, the lady that met us was very pleasant. We had the whole house to ourselves. Everything you can need and some lovely little extra touches in the bathroom like cotton buds and tissues etc. The location was great getting into the city centre. Overall a lovely stay.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the room, but remember to bring your own milk as there’s a coffee machine and facilities on the first floor, but they assume you drink black coffee.

Staff were very friendly. We had 2 rooms instead of the normal 1 . Very comfortable beds. We were able to make coffee in the kitchen.

Only downfall for me personally was that the toilet was 2 flights of stairs down. I use the toilet lots during the night (medically). And there was one blind missing from the room, so lots of light coming into the room. Looked like 2 new blinds were ready to go up, but wasn't up yet for our stay.

Very good location. Spacious accomodation. Good facilities, coffee, milk, sugar. Toiletries. Comfortable beds. Heating. Free parking on street, although had to keep changing parking permit up to 5 pm. Communal kitchen diner on 2nd floor. Modern & spacious.

This is not a hotel. More like a shared house. We had twin room on ground floor & our bathroom was in a seperate room next door. Other bedrooms & another bathroom upstairs. Although there was tea/coffee kettle in room there was no milk/spoons etc, you had to go upstairs to kitchen. Sockets very limited in room. Couldn't connect WiFi. Host didn't meet us had to get key from sister down road.

This place was 10 minutes easy walk to Menin Gate. Great location to explore Flanders and Commonwealth cemeteries. Ypres is a beautiful city. Our hosts where very helpful (as other reviews rightly said). The location itself was quiet. Would definitely consider Inga again.

The description describes itself as a bed and breakfast but this is not quite true. You need to request breakfast when booking. This is not mafe clear in the listing. But not really an issue as we left by 9 each day anyway

A simple continental breakfast was provided which was very tasty. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were a great temperature - not overheated like so many hotels are, and with the ability to open the window to get fresh air. Ample wardrobe space was available and use of the kitchen was available to make hot drinks and so on, in addition to a kettle in the room.

Although it was not a problem for us, for the top floor rooms the bathroom is located down three flights of steep stairs. For those who are less agile or maybe need the toilet in the middle of the night, maybe request the ground floor room which has the bathroom adjacent to the room.

We stayed for one night to break up the journey between Calais and Center Parcs de Vossemeren. Great location. Super clean. Perfect for a family of 5, it’s normally so hard to find a suitable room. We actually had 2 rooms and our own bathroom. We did have to go down stairs to get to the bathroom but it was really big and nice and the shower was great, and it was just for our family. Beds were really comfy. The included breakfast was great too.

Nothing. We loved it. The parking might have been a bit of a pain if it hadn’t been a Sunday. Inga provides a parking permit so parking is free, but it needs updating every 2 hours so if you go out without your car then you need to give her your car key to change it.

Everything. Hosts were great, breakfast was great and very generous, rooms were lovely and the facilities were very good. We were provided with a parking permit to ensure we didn't get fined and the location is a very short walk to the centre of town and Menin Gate. Highly recommend staying here. Only stayed one night and wished we had stayed longer.

Nothing really. Be prepared to haul your bags upstairs (which our host helped with) if staying on the top level, but that is no reason not to stay.

Really lovely location, no private parking but never struggled to find on street parking. The accommodation was bright, clean & modern, in a beautiful old building, we were a family of 6 so had the whole place to ourselves. Breakfast is laid out for you each morning (in your kitchen) and had a lovely selection of continental foods and access to the coffee machine all day. The two top bedrooms share a bathroom and the bottom bedroom has its own bathroom. Both have nice hot shower. The owners are lovely and speak really good English and are very helpful.

There are lots of stairs, so if you struggle or planning to get drunk probably not for you.
