The property was beautifully decorated with each room having its individual style. The mini bar in every room was complementary which is a rarity and was fully stocked. There was in addition an honesty bar by the breakfast room which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was sensational. Both cooked and buffet style. Elodie the owner was on hand to ensure all of her guests had the best time.

There is nothing not to like. This is a first class hotel.

The owner, Elodie, met us upon arrival and accommodated our special requests. She truly made us feel welcome and a valued client. The hotel was so quaint and inviting, from the period decor to the flowers to the individual butter cups at breakfast. The rooms were very clean and had everything, at no extra cost!

The only complaint, and it was not under the control of the hotel was the church bell that rang on the hour. Thankfully it stopped at 21:00h and did not start again until 07:00h.

The owner, Elodie was very welcoming, friendly and suggested a reasonable and nice bistro to eat for dinner. The hotel was immaculate. The bed room large, with a free mini bar, coffee making facilities, huge comfy bed. The en suite was very well appointed with a large corner bath and separate shower with hand wand and overhead rain shower. Breakfast was superb! A wonderful selection of fresh fruit salad, yoghurts , nuts, cereals, granola, cheeses, cold meats, pastries and cooked to order breakfast (mine was a delicious cheese and vegetable omelette )! Thank you Oledie. We had a truly fabulous stay at your hotel.

Nothing. It was perfect!

The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. We've stayed in lots of nice hotels but this small boutique hotel in a fantastic location for Ypres might well be my favourite. Elodie couldn't do enough for us and was a fantastic host. Breakfast was excellent, the room spacious with a lovely bathroom including hot tub and our own outside space. The room was designed so nicely and the whole hotel has a lovely relaxing vibe. Highly recommended!

Nothing! A perfect stay - I just wish we could have stayed for longer.

A quite exceptional hotel at every level; Elodie could not have done more to make us welcome and it is a genuine pleasure to class her, the hotel and the service as perfect.

We were sad to leave such a lovely hotel and should have booked longer.

The most beautiful boutique hotel run by the equally beautiful Elodie who is the most sincere and loveliest host you could ask for. The breakfast is outstanding and worth a visit just for that!! Each room is special and individual and a very high standard!! We will definitely be back if we come to Ypres again!

Nothing - it is perfect!!

the hotel consisted of 2 or 3 rooms in the garden and the remainder of the rooms was 1 or 2 flights up in the main buidling.. Ours (no 2) was at the end of the garden with a sizable private terras. The room was cosy but not very large. Our host Elodie, was the most hospitable hotel owner we have known, she went out of her way to make us feel at home

Our welcome to this boutique hotel could not have been more genuine. The gracious owner and host, Elody, greeted my wife and I with a drink of our choice while she took five minutes to "fluff the pillows" in our room, which was then ready for us to enjoy. The room itself was in a very pleasant garden setting with all the cozy and warm features that one could expect from a four-star hotel. A large and very comfortable bed; bathroom with tub and shower; refrigerator; safe; telephone, of course; and lots and lots of quiet. By the way--in the refrigerator were free beverages including water, soda, beer, and wine. With free replenishment! And breakfast-- We have never been presented with such a marvelous display of breads, meats, exotics such as foie gras, fruits, egg dishes... it was all there. And delicious. The Main Street Hotel is boutique and is not inexpensive. But, it's worth the very fair price. We wish we could have stayed longer this trip. We will be back!

Very beautiful luxurious room. Was travelling solo yet seemed to end up in the honeymoon suite with a double bath. Just a fabulous room, complimentary mini bar to boot. Definitely a place to come to again, my wife would be most impressed! Lovely breakfast and coffee too.
