I would say that it appears to be in a nice and safe neighbourhood over looking a community playing field. Parking directly opposite the B&B. We were early for our original check in but Karen met us when we arrived so it was no problem. She was very helpful and gave us all the answers to the questions. We asked…and more! Excellent communal continental breakfast at 8.30. Attached photo taken from the front of my parked car. We had the top floor, daughter waving from bathroom.

Nothing to not like. All the facilities were there that we could wish for including English Breakfast Tea.

Great B&B, close enough to walk to the main square/centre of town and plenty of free on street parking when we arrived (however this filled up quickly and people were queuing for spots in the morning). Very friendly and helpful hosts. Air conditioning in the room was very much appreciated! Several nice little touches were bowls of sweets for guests, a bottle of water in the room, also a box of toiletries like toothbrushes etc in case guests have forgotten anything.

I didn’t love that the toilet wasn’t in the room (the sink and shower were in the room), but it wasn’t really a problem, just a bit inconvenient (the toilet was private for our room, it wasn’t shared with other rooms). The walls are very thin so we could hear clearly the room next door when they woke up very early, and there was a lot of noise from the street and park early on (ear plugs would fix that problem).

There was an excellent selection of food. The bed was very comfortable and we could adjust the heating as we needed to.There was plenty of refreshments in the room and also information leaflets about the area.Karen was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. We had a slight problem with the shower which was entirely my fault as the water splashed against the door and wet the bath mat.It was immediately cleaned up even though as I say it was my fault.Parking was available across the road and it was free.

Perhaps move the shower so it doesn't spray onto the door or fit a seal strip on the bottom of the door.I felt dreadful that water had leaked and I didn't know until I got out.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Julietts B&B, thanks in large part to the lovely host, Karen. She was incredibly friendly, always up for a chat, and more than willing to suggest things to do or share fascinating stories about the local area's history. One story in particular—the Brothers in Arms Memorial—really stood out and added so much depth to our visit. Her knowledge of the war significance in the area was truly impressive and made our stay even more meaningful. Our room was perfect, with a lovely balcony and seating area where we could relax in the evenings. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast that was always beautifully laid out for us. The location was also fantastic! We were just an 8-minute walk from the In Flanders Fields Museum and a 12-minute walk from the Menin Gate, which made exploring Ypres so convenient. Although the parking outside could be full during the day, we always found a space close by in the morning and evening, and we were able to charge our car overnight at one of the electric charging points, which was very convenient. We can't recommend Julietts B&B enough and are already planning to stay here again when we bring family to visit the Ypres region. Karen's warmth and hospitality made our stay unforgettable!

Nothing to dislike, was absolutely fantastic

Brilliant location, easy to find, and only a five minute walk into the centre of Ypres. We stayed here 11 years ago when it was Cavells. It's been decorated and freshened up since then. Karen is a lovely lady and a gracious host. The room we stayed in was cosy and very comfortable. Delicious, continental breakfast. Karen allowed us to park our two motorbikes in the garage for safety. We've tried many times to book over the years when visiting but have been unable to because of it being fully booked, which says a lot. First class and highly recommend.

There is nothing to dislike, just a couple of things to note. The room we stayed in had a separate, private WC out in the landing area. Parking in front of the house is free (if I recall correctly), but it's usually full. Other than that everything is great.

The hotel is conveniently located, with free parking nearby. The room is clean, the mattress is very comfortable (I slept very well), there is everything to make tea or coffee. The breakfast is very good. The hostess of the hotel is very wonderful - friendly, attentive and caring, she does not leave anyone without attention. If I need a hotel in this city again, I will definitely take a room in this hotel.

We had the family room which was great for the four of us, the two bedrooms gave us lots of space, the bathroom was well equipped and the lounge was an excellent space for relaxing between sight seeing. The breakfast was excellent, with a selection of items available and something for everyone. Communication about the booking and arrival arrangements was very good. Parking was very good with lots of on street spaces and the centre of Ypres only a short walk away.

The friendliest, most helpful host we've come across! With a genuine interest in WW1 and WW2, she will help anyone who is in the area for "war tourism" The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well fitted out - good wifi, tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. Location is an easy walk to the town centre. The only possible issue is that, whilst there is free parking directly outside the property, these spaces are always busy. That said, there's other options available within the facility.
