Lovely rural setting but near to Malmedy. We came for the Belgian Grand Prix and it was a convenient location for us. Monsieur Ray, the caretaker, was very helpful and friendly!! We received a breakfast box each morning from a caterer which was filled with enough food for our breakfast and lunch!

Excellent comfy room with shared terrace seating outside. Great location outside of Malmedy. Large bathroom with everything you need in as good as new condition. Awesome breakfast delivered daily by caterer. Super nice welcome by owner (die gewoon Nederlands spreekt)

if there's one thing, the house next door seems to host large groups. When I stayed, a group of 8 or 10 students was present. Weren't loud or anything, so no problem really, but when you sit outside to enjoy a quiet breakfast or a good read/drink on hot nights, the chatting etc from next door is audible

It was clean, breakfast was very good (too much for two ladies), so we also used some of it as lunch. Area is amazing.

The toilet was closed by a curtain, so if you are used to each other, it shouldn’t be a problem. Just be aware that it might surprise you. We could live with it, but had to make each other aware of our planned actions for the toilet 🙃.

We were in Malmedy for the F1 Belgium Grand Prix, the location was great, easy access to track. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was generous. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay at La petite suisse, welcomed very warm and a very nice room. Completely in wood with a big bath and shower. There was also red and white wine for us and a super breakfast the next morning. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The breakfast was perfect. The room had a nice, cozy, comfortable feel - perfect after a day of hiking.

To evaluate this place is not easy. On the one hand: We were happy to be able to reserve it on the "last moment" when the F1 races were delayed so we did not want to drive so many hours back home. And the owner was nice and helpfull, etc. As well some equipment like for example coffee machine including a lot of coffee tablets, or small bottles of wine, etc. was very pleasant. And the breakfast was quite good and very originally served. But on the other hand some things were not equal to the price per night. For example the wooden walls and ceilings were original but a bit too much rural and visibly it was "cheap" solution. Or strange bathrooms in two of rooms. Or roof window above bed without possibility to cover it so you are from early morning disturbed by light directly to your face. ... For understanding: We used 4 rooms and two of them were quite OK (with exception of this roof window), but the small and old shower box in room N.3 and ugly toilet behind the curtain which looks like some outdoor toilet plus bath without any shower hose in room N.1 very spoiled the overall impression. If the price for these two worse rooms would be let´s say minus 50 EUR in comparison with better rooms, it would be ok/equal.
