We only stayed here for one night, so didn't use any facilities the hostel has to offer. However, the beds were comfortable. The rooms are not that large, but we liked the fact that it contained a separate sink, shower and toilet, so you could still use the toilet while someone was in the shower and wash your hands afterwards. A good breakfast was included in the price, which makes sure you get excellent value for money when staying here.

The wifi was a bit unstable in our room. Also, this is probably because it is a hostel, but it was a bit of a surprise to us that we had to make our own beds and also take the sheets to the laundry room upon checkout. The hostel is a bit outside of the town of Malmedy.

Big and cosy lobby and porch, there are several choices for activities like football, petanque, pingpong, board games etc. Very nice surroundings, possibility to have a barbecue. Has a kitchen. The breakfast is included.

The towels and soap were not included in the price. It is possible though to get them if you pay. The parking lot was too small considering how big is the place. We had luck to be able to still park at the site. We did not find a cutting board/ knife or a floor mop in the kitchen. If your room is close by to the kitchen, the noice of loud clicks of closing the doors can disturb your sleep.

It feels a like a big house. The staff is very friendly. Although it is officially a ‘youth hostel’, there are more grownups around, if that makes anyone feel better. :)) Location is nice, with views to green hills. The Breakfast is also a plus. I would come back again.

The couches in the lounge probably need new upholstery. It does get a bit loud in there, a little soundproofing on the ceiling would help people keep their voice down.

Great location, right next to forest trails, making it perfect for nature walks. The breakfast was surprisingly good with plenty of options. There's a large area with a fireplace, plus a ping pong table for activities. The staff were helpful and attentive. Overall, a very comfortable place to stay with everything you need nearby.

The bathroom was a drawback, as it had a significant mold and humidity issue and could use a deep clean. This was disappointing and affected the overall experience.

Clean place, very friendly hardworking staff, they will help you with anything and most of them speak French, English and Dutch. Much facilities, nice nature area, you can easily stay here for a week and entertain yourself very diversely!

Friendly and kind staff, clean rooms. It has a great location and a pretty enough breakfast for the day.

Since it has shared rooms like a dormitory, I believe there should be some rules keep the stay comfortable for all. My room mates were first coming at around 11:00PM where I was already in bed for my hiking the next day, dumping their stuff and making their beds, then leaving and coming back at 2:30AM to sleep, making more noise and chatting.

The hostel is very well-located, with a football field, BBQ, and ping-pong table, very nice and cozy lounge area. The breakfast does not have a huge selection, but is very tasty: bio and local eggs, cheese, yoghurt. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, the room very clean and beds comfortable. Value for money is great!

I would like to have some vegetables at the breakfast, other than that - perfect!

Excellent receptionist, fluent in French as well as Dutch among others. The hostel offers multiple recreational outdoor summer activities, a bar that's still affordable and the breakfast is a convincing element for booking this place

Attraction for large groups of cyclists due to the beautiful area. Don't expect a nice quiet lobby in the evening (at least not in the weekends I suppose)

The 2 beds in the upper part of my room did not have a close power outlet that I could find.

well located, though close to the road (we kept the windows closed so no noise, but not sure in summer time). The facilities are great, keeping in mind it is a hostel not a 4 stars hotel ! do not forget your soap 😎 towels can be rented for a small extra. The breakfast was simple but with several choices and included in the price! Quite pleasant and with several activities onsite to enjoy the stay

nothing really but as already mentioned the pipes stink a bit we left the window opened when we got the room, ok after an hour. Not a question of cleanliness I believe
