I enjoyed my one night stay at Hotel Limburgia! I felt very welcome by the owners from the moment I checked in, during the delicious breakfast, and when I checked out. The bed was comfortable, good shower, and a nice view from the balcony. I didn't have a car and traveled by bus. The bus stop is conveniently around the corner (you can see the hotel from the stop) and takes about 30 minutes to get to Maastricht. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place outside of the city center of Maastricht.

The walls are on the thin side so you may hear your neighbors, but fine during sleeping hours.

I explained that I needed to stay overnight on my way back home from Spa-Francorchamps for the race, and I wasn't able to check in according to the usual rules. I arrived at the hotel at 11pm, and they kindly allowed me to check in. Furthermore, in the morning, I'm not the most sociable person, but they were exceptionally kind to me.

It may appear isolated, but in reality, it's only a short drive from Maastricht. I reached Maastricht in just a few minutes by taking a road with a speed limit of 30 km/h (please be cautious because this road is not always open to traffic).

Breakfast was simple but tasty. The hostess was friendly. We chose to stay here so we could be walking distance from Chateau Neercanne, so that was great. Maastricht city center is also not too far away. There was also an air conditioning unit, which was handy in the heat.

The rooms and bathroom were a little dated. Although clean, we are not a fan of carpeted flooring because it is unhygienic and the shower clogged up.

Easy access & parking by car, nice interior, clean and well equipped. e.g. hot water and tea/coffee/chocolate drink. Breakfast is fresh and from quality materials. (Last day got a take-away breakfast, which was enough for the whole day…) Quiet at night, very friendly helpful staff.

Family hotel. Very friendly, hard-working people. Beds are great. Close to Maastricht, where we had to go to work. Nice surroundings for walks. Great bakery for true 'Limburgse vlaai' close by.

I hate pre-packaged breakfast juice. Minor detail.

Very nice breakfast with plenty of choice. The meal in the hotel was also very good. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. Comfortable room. Electric car charger on site. The location is excellent for a visit to Maastricht and surrounding area.

Air conditioning in the room is great. Quite and safe neighbourhood. Restaurant on the ground floor. Other restaurants and bakery in walking distance. Free street level parking although limited.

Small room size. Unsatisfactory breakfast - no vegetables, eggs only by order. Difficult access to upper floors - steep steps.

The location was peaceful, the staff friendly. We stayed there because we were going on a bike/hiking trip in the hills of Limburg, and it was the perfect location to do that. It's a bike friendly hotel, so we will definitely be back. The breakfast was yummy too :)

Breakfast was very good / Nice terras with drinks that could be ordered / convenient that we could have dinner in the hotel / Dinner was of good quality, but not exceptional , i.e. standard quality cooking

No elevator could be a hazzle in case of heavy luggage up to 3rd floor. Was not our case, but an offer to help carrying the luggage upstairs would have been appreciated ( even if we didn't really needed it)

Very well maintained family owned hotel. Our room had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, bedding and towels fresh and clean. Air conditioning worked well. The hotel is only 10 min drive from Maastricht, but the price is more competitive compared to hotels in the city. There is enough free parking space on a quiet street in front of the hotel and also several parking places onsite.
