Hotel Pastis welcomes you with charm, friendliness, warmth and comfort. We booked Hotel Pastis as we were in town for the Andre Rieu concert - great location, 750m walk from the Main Square, and far enough out of town to be quiet and peaceful. The rooms and bathroom was excellent - very well decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast buffet each morning in the communal dining room was perfectly adequate too. All in all, a great place to stay. We would definitely return to Hotel Pastis.

Liked how spacious the apartment was. Very enjoyable stay. Short walk to town centre, grocery shop and bakery nearby. Welcoming gifts kindly left by the owners.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but the stairs to the apartment (12) quite steep so it could potentially be a problem for someone with reduced mobility.

The room was very comfortable including beds and pillows. It was very clean. The hosts were everything you want them to be, friendly and very helpful. The dining area for breakfast leads to a bar where you could help yourself to drinks and make a note of what you had. There's an outside space to sit if the weather is good. The walk into the beautiful old town of Maastricht across a park, is very pleasant and everything you need is close by. It is a lovely small hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I come to the area.

As someone else noted, it was strange to have the bathroom and toilet without a door and it leads from the bedroom. You have to be very close to your partner to be comfortable and I was with my sister. It seems that this is becoming fashionable these days. Extremely clean though.

In a lovely area, ideal pretty 15min walk to the centre. Two good restaurants just up the road. Accommodation basic (the room we stayed in top floor at the back had high windows so couldn’t see out but we only slept here so that was fine). Clean, traditional, staff extremely friendly. Free coffee machine downstairs.

Didn’t have a window to view from (unless we stood in the bed).

The owners were so helpful and kind. They are so enthusiastic and go to great lengths to ensure everyone is happy. We only had the continental breakfast once in our 3 days and it was excellent and fresh. It hit -6 oC one evening as we were walking back, but our room was lovely, warm and cosy. The building has great character and a welcoming aura around the place. The dining room was full of visitors from around Europe and the atmosphere was wonderful. The walk to the main areas and river was about 10 to 15 minutes away and I'd love to stay here again in the summer as it was freezing walking around. I would definitely recommend staying here for your trip to Maastricht. We also had a drive to Aachen in Germany during our stay and that town was thriving and full of magnificent architecture. Well worth a trip if you are staying a few days.

Parking was 6.50 Euros outside and we were very lucky as there was only 1 space available. The spiral steps were steep, but not that much of a problem.

The location, a room downstairs with a big table, a coffee machine with free coffee. It was very central and very cozy.

The bathroom does not have a door. There is a toilet downstairs in the property though

The location was great for biking into town or to the grotto. The rooms were lovely with sunshine coming in, furnished to feel like a home. Check in was very easy and I liked the key system. The staff were kind and helped keep my market flowers fresh for me.

Very cosy and comfortable place to stay, exceptionally clean and in a quiet area. It is around 20-25 min walking from the main train station of the city. Also, you can reach by foot the city center so it works well as a base to explore it. Good value for the money paid.

The room was very good but the toilet/shower area leads directly into the bed area with only a glass door separating it, so it terms of privacy it could be better.

lovely building and decoration, good communication with host, arrival uncomplicated . Ability to access kitchen to get drinks anytime and sit in the back or front. Brilliant breakfast . Local access.

Room without view and fairly basic, but this met our needs and was at a good price.

Very warm and welcoming host, excellent room with very generous comfortable bathroom, location is in walking distance from city centre and there are options for supermarkets/cafes nearby as well. Paid car parking on streets outside is always available. Can recommend
