A public parking garage is just around the corner, and we enjoyed the a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

There were no major issues during the stay. However, it’s worth noting a few practical points: the building does not have an elevator, and the staircase is quite narrow and steep, which may be challenging for some guests. Additionally, the bathroom was rather small, which could affect comfort depending on personal preferences.

Lovely intimate boutique hotel, perfectly located for the Vreitof and city centre. Everything we needed was on the doorstep and the train station was a pleasant walk away in about 15 minutes. We loved the clean, well-maintained quirky rooms. The building itself is very old with an abundance of character. The bed was large and comfortable. Marcel is a friendly helpful host who is happy to go the extra mile to make his guests feel welcome.

Nice and small hotel in a charming building. Great location near Vrijthof and Onze Lieve Vrouwenplein. Rooms were tastefully decorated, mixing old and new with art. Bed was very comfortable. The place was very clean. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. He sent us a text message a day in advance with instructions for possible late arrival (reception is open until 14:00). Free coffee and tea in the room. Recommended !

Bathroom was fine, but quite small. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, which may be a concern for some. The road in front has some traffic, but nothing disturbing.

Excellent location in the city centre. Old house converted into a hotel which is a nice change from the typical hotel chains. Very quiet, even when window was open. Very good breakfast.

The stairs are narrow but didn’t shock us as we knew in advance. The bathroom is a bit outdated and could be refurbished (the sink is way too close to the toilet, but it’s probably hard to change that).

The owner provided several options to park our car. The cheaper parking was at walking distance and it was a pleasant walk in the park and along the city wall. The manager provided very useful information about the city and its history. It was more comprehensive than the tourist information did provide! The rooms was very cosy and comfortable and beautifully decoreated. The bed was large and very comfortable.

The hotel does not have a lift. It is not suitable for people who cannot walk up the narrow stairs or have some kind of physical difficulty.

Quirky and different, all rooms are individually uniquely decorated . Fantastic location in the middle of the old town, so close to everything to explore from. Great to have free access to a good coffee machine in the reception area along with water . Super helpful staff who treat you like you are friends. A really lovely place to stay .

Whilst it’s location is fab , this also caused problems of a lot of noise at night ( if you have a room looking out onto the street ) if you open the window to get some fresh air in . This would not be a problem if you are not staying there when it’s hot ( it was 28-30 degrees when we stayed ) . However once the windows are shut this does completely block out all the noise from the street , but left the room unbearably stuffy and warm ..

The stairs, but at the end it was good exercise and they offered to lend us a hand with luggage. One of the beds was creaking and the mattress was a bit bumpy., but still one of us managed to sleep well. The other bed was impeccable

Fantastic location, just few meters from the Vrijthof square, quirky and stylishly decorated rooms, our room (1) was on the basic floor and had a small private outside space with a little table and chairs. Ideal for taking the morning coffee, made by the Nespresso coffeemaker in the room. We checked in after the closing hours of the reception and were given good and clear instructions on how to enter the property by the host through the booking.com message forum. For our next visit to Maastricht we will deferentially try to stay at this place again.

It's an old building and the rooms are not as soundproofed as new-builds.

Very close to the main square and shopping, restaurants,very good location.. Good breakfast ,helpful host ,parking available about 300 meters away secure .Had to pay but everywhere cost for parking

Stairs were difficult,but we knew they would but it's a Dutch older house ,should have booked a downstairs room. Will know next time

The hotel is in a very central position. The owners were extremely helpful. Prior to our arrival, we were given lots of information about local facilities and the owner took a great deal of time to highlight places to visit. Continental breakfast was delivered to our room each day at the time we had requested. This breakfast was excellent.

I couldn’t fault anything.
