This is just a beautiful quirky building in just an awesome little street in a fantastic town. I could have stayed much longer. Unfortunately it is such a quiet street and such a historic building that you really hear any car or even bicycle that does go down the street, but the staff quickly moved me to a rear room and we slept like babies. The staff were generally super friendly and accommodating. I really loved the art, a lot of faux Banksy, and the window views into the oldtown, and the rooms (we saw several because a colleague and friend also came.)

Apparently it is now a trendy Dutch hipster thing to make no accomodation for those trying to save the planet with a plant-based diet. It's kind of shocking for somewhere so aesthetically oriented to not have a choice in this regards for breakfast, not even for the lactose-intolerant. The breakfast room is also very "live" acoustically so it could be impossible to hear at times, often generated by one of the staff loudly rearranging chairs or talking to customers, the customers themselves were more discreet.

A beautiful, tranquil and relaxing place to stay. Super friendly people and an excellent location, just a short walk from the Vrijthof and OLVPlein.

We experienced a little noise from the street. Although the street is one of the quietest in Maastricht, our visit coincided with Freshers Week at the university, so there were some late-night students enjoying themselves!

The room was very spacious and quiet. I slept well! Breakfast was served outside the first day, when the weather allowed for it; the second day it was inside in the lovely breakfast room. Everything went smoothly.

There is no bar or anything in the hotel, so if you want to get a late night snack or drink, you need to go out. Luckily there are plenty of cafés just around the corner.

Very stylish decor and well thought out hotel. Staff were friendly without taking up lots of time - check in was mercifully brief too!

Could re consider lighting and increase the number of hooks in the room. WiFi was also quite weak but these are quite minor improvements as my stay was really lovely

Great location, lovely decor, very clean, and the host is wonderful - we felt very welcomed, and well taken care of. The breakfast was just right. Super cozy property. We’ll definitely stay there again on our next visit to Maastricht.

Nothing. Stairs are a bit narrow if you’re carrying lots of luggage, but that is expected given the location.

The room was a good size. For breakfast we were offerd a variety of continental choices which was very tasty and just enough. The location of the hotel is perfect, very central and walking distance to everywhere. Although there was no kettle in the room there was a help yourself coffee station in the hall.

A door between the bed- and the bathroom.

cosy little hotel, nice living room with bar, small terrace and free coffee/tea/ water. great breakfast, covering all tastes. great gin tonic prepared by very nice staff guy ( tattoos on the fingers ) that was in charge the first days ( eaven if he had to open the bar for us, as we returned a little over 20, the closing hour... respect!!!)...solved also the issues with the light bulb that wasn't functioning and the clogged shower drainage. thank you!

the cleaning could be more thorough... maybe get out the old wall to wall carpets ( that hold lot of dust ) and discover the wooden floor. the other stuff guy forgot to print us some papers ( we asked him in the morning ) so we had to find in the evening a place to print them...and he also did a childish joke next morning about forgetting...

If you want a boutique experience, look no further. The hôtelier has finely crafted this hotel. Sit on the patio and listen to the quiet traces of university life. Feel free to enjoy the light play in the early evening and Dutch design elements. Talk to the hotel manager and he can answer questions, give advice, inform you of what you did not know…The town of Maastricht is a lost emerald in the crown of Europe.

Nothing. It is a perfect property and is ridiculously underpriced.

The room was beautiful, with exposed rafters and a wonderful vista onto a binnentuin with hedges and the changing trees. The bathtub was a real bonus, something to savor at the end of the day! A coctail on the first afternoon, made by our host, was scrumptious, too!

Really nice hotel near the city center. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Coffee and tea were complimentary. Staff was friendly and really accommodating.

We thought the bathroom was really too small. We are little people but we think that larger people would have trouble maneuver in the tight space. (when you were on the toilet your legs are under the sink). The room we were in was not really good isolated. We woke up several times during the night due to talking neighbors.
