We had a very pleasant stay at the Saillant, perfectly located in the city centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room on the roof floor was just perfect with a huge bathroom, fast internet, so everything we needed was there. The breakfast was good, with cheese, different sorts of bread, yoghurt, eggs, pindakaas, etc. There is an underground parking next to the hotel, you have to book it online and can get a discount as hotel guest. For a next visit to Maastricht, we will definitely come back to the Saillant.

Ideal location on the square where the Christmas market was and the Andrè Rieu summer concert is. Everywhere is walkable with beautiful buildings and quaint streets. The room was better than expected after reading some reviews. Our room overlooked the square, it was clean and the bathroom was modern. The beds were comfy. The staff were very helpful especially a young lady called Nour. She couldn’t do enough for us.

The only problem are the stairs, which can’t be changed. They are steep and there isn’t a lift. It is not suitable for disabled or unfit people. We were aware of this problem before booking.

Staff were excellent. The welcome when we arrived was very friendly, and when we had a problem with a taxi not arriving, the girl on reception could not have been more helpful in arranging for an alternative. The location was great, right opposite the square, which at this time of year had the Christmas market in it. It was an easy walk to wander through the lovely town. The coffee machine in the room was great!

Very good position with a balcony overlooking square. Comfy mattress. Tea/coffee making facilities. Very little to complain about.

More noisy outside on Friday night. Lumpy pillow but ok. Not suitable for disabled person as no lift but we ( older couple) managed the 2nd floor ok.

What i like on this hotel christmas markt is infront of it .. and Q park is also very close .. toilet/bathroom is clean .

Great location, right in the center. Had a room looking out the inner courtyard, so no issue with any outside noise. Spacious room, very clean, heats up very quickly.

No soundproofing, you can hear everything from the hallway, people going up and into their rooms, doors closing, etc.

Breakfast was substantial and had a good choice of quality ingredients. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel situation was central and excellent

Lighting on stairwell could have been better.
