Excellent location, very close to The Red Church. Very clean room, comfortable bed, helpful receptionist, elevator. Our room was light, with big windows, looking at the walking area on this center square. Even though many restaurants were at the square, it was not noisy during the night (Monday night). (Travelers, please know that restaurants that are open on Mondays, not many, will close between 8:00 and 9:00PM.) I like the decoration of the room, too, delicate and just right.

The breakfast at the hotel's cafe was expensive. We paid 40 euro for two sandwiches, two small orange juices and a coffee.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent - cannot be beaten for central/ handy, nice vibe to surrounding area. The room was bright and very spacious with a couple of comfy chairs. The bed was comfortable. The shower was large and water always hot.

For the price of this room I would have expected better facilities (although price similar to other hotels in centre). There was no mini-fridge, there was no kettle, just the coffee machine, so not possible to make yourself a tea. The shower room whilst a great size was a little scruffy (walls looked dirty round bin area, but maybe just needs a re-paint). Also we were surprised that the whole restaurant/bar/reception area shuts down at 10pm. An older member of our group struggled to get in one night as key system is all QR codes, and they are fiddly to use. It is in a lively area so there are other options nearby, but it would have been nice to have a bar/sitting area to relax in the late evening especially when in a group.

The location was great for everything we wanted to do. Parking garage is very secure and good directions were sent to access it. Jordi was very helpful in getting us set up with how to run the air conditioning, providing ice in an ice bucket, and giving us a water boiler for the room. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet, and the shower was great. All of the staff was very nice but special kudos again to Jordi.

The only problem we had was getting into the parking garage with the qr code, but it was easily solved by having the staff open the door for us remotely. The safe is so small that a laptop won’t fit in a.

We arrived ahead of checking in time and they had the rooms ready which gave us more time to explore the town without our luggage. The check-in staff were super friendly and explained everything clearly. We had an en-suite room overlooking the beautiful Vrithof square and surrounding restaurants. The room was clean and airy and large bed very comfortable. We enjoyed drinks on the patio but we didn't eat at the hotel so unable to comment on food service

The first approach to the hotel -- through its restaurant -- wasn't particularly promising, and we were concerned about potential noise issues, especially with the room facing the busy square. We needn't have worried: the room is comfortable, the bed one of the best on our trip, and the sound insulation was excellent.

The gentleman who checked us in was a bit lacking in experience, and when we received the parking pass, he didn't make it at all clear that the parking lot was NOT the civic lot under the square in front of the hotel, but a small, private lot reached by going not quite all the way around the block. As a result, we found we had to pay for the city parking; however, at checkout, when we explained the issue to the (experienced) desk staff member, she arranged reimbursement of our hotel-paid parking fee. A mere minor annoyance, and well-handled in the end.

Unbeatable location, perfect for walking around the city. Bed in king room with view very comfortable, good shower. Was able to leave luggage there after checking out.

Floor of our room extremely dirty. Mentioned it at reception after checking in but housekeeping had finished for the day. Was no better after the room was attended to the next day. We used wipes on a small patch of floor and they were black with dirt which we showed at reception. Duvet cover was torn in places. Also, the carpeted common areas, stairs and lift, were not vacuumed for the duration of our 3 day stay.

Beautifully appointed room in fancy shades of red and black which really made up for a special atmosphere. The modern bathroom was decorated in the same colors. Everything was spotlessly clean. The highlight was the super comfortable bed… I have hardly ever slept so well in a hotel. Both, the reception staff as well as restaurant staff, were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast (à-la-carte choice, not included in my booking) was tasty. Overall, great value for money!

The only point for criticism I have is that the room was freezing cold upon arrival and it took quite long to heat up. With outside temperatures of around 3 degrees I expect a hotel room to be a little warmed up. However, I was told that management does not allow to heat the rooms prior to guest arrival in order to save energy.

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was massive and well positioned and when you stepped outside there was a lovely cafe and then you were into the square .

I wish hotels would offer tea or coffee facilities with a few complimentary biscuits even if it is added to the price .

The location could not be better, you are right in the centre of the city. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accomodating, our room was huge and clean, beds were very comfortable. We booked parking as well and it's just around the corner and the description sent via email was perfect, with photos and exact details. Will be back.

Generous sized bedroom. The decor is very elegant. The hotel overlooks the Vrijthof, a public space. There was a “kermis” on during my stay. The loud music and noises were somehow blocked out, but one could still hear them until they stopped after midnight.

Shower door had not been cleaned.
