Interesting old hotel with history and charm, set in the most convenient location in Maastricht. Good service. Decent breakfast with windows overlooking the Vrijthof Square.

There was no exhaust or circulation from the bathroom. The whole room had to be opened up to air out any unwanted smells. This worked for me because the weather was good but I can imagine this not working in the winter.

Location is great. Comfortable rooms but a bit old fashioned. The bed was very comfortable. I like the tile design in the shower. Plays off the original tiles you see in the lobby of the hotel.

Room decor and the hotel is old fashioned. I like the fact it’s an old building but I feel it could be updated in a way which makes it feel modern but retains the original features.

Location of Hotel was excellent for shops, restaurants, bars and sight seeing, it was clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and pleasant, breakfast was at a reasonable cost with a variety of items available.

The shower room/toilet area although adequate I felt was a bit small, although if I had been staying longer than the weekend I would have upgraded to a different room. And a trivial thing really, there was no Sauces available to go with the cooked breakfast, which I though was strange as all the surrounding restaurants have various sauces to go with your meal.

It was the first hotel where I've been to that was silent! The staff was super nice, and the room was clean. It was all very pleasant.

The Wi-Fi for sure, it was very bad. Not sure if it was because my room was rather secluded, but still. Do not go there if you need to work from the hotel room.

THE ROOM WAS WONDERFUL ' THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS . THE LOCATION WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND CENTRAL TO EVERYTHING. OUR ROOM WAS AMAZING THE VIEW ONTO THE SQUARE WAS OUTSTANDING AND AS WE WERE THERE TO SEE ANDRE RIEU COULDNT BE BETTER LOVED EVERYTHING. I stayed here for a professional course and exam for a week. The place is perfectly located in the centre next to a grocery store, heaps of eateries and some great cafés to study at. The staff are very kind and helpful. The room itself was perfectly cozy.

Not much to complain about, it is really quaint.

The location was very convenient and accessible to food, grocery and transport, most especially to the famous bookstore and fancy cafés. The facility is vintage and clean which I really like.

Probably because of the room location (4th floor left wing) that the wifi signal is quite unstable, but personally not a big deal.

it was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Air conditioning was appreciated as the weather was very hot.

Paper cups and wooden stirring sticks for making coffee in the bedroom were not appreciated. Considering the price of the accommodation this was not appropriate! They should provide proper cups and teaspoons. In addition there were no teabags or milk provided in the bedroom. If they’re going to provide a kettle and coffee they should do the whole lot in our opinion.

The hotel is in the center of town, so it’s very practical to visit the city. The bedroom was very fantastic : the beds were comfortable and a room was very big. The breakfast was very generous with salt side: cheese, meat, eggs and with sugar side: croissant, jam, juices ect … it our best Moment of day 😂 The staff was very nice 👍

Perfect location in the centre of this beautiful town. Parking in the Vrijthof parking garage next to the hotel. very convenient. Room was very nice and well equipped for the purpose. The lady working in the breakfast room made my day (so friendly and energetic).

The entrance can use some redecoration. Not good for a first impression. Check-in took a bit too long.
