The property was nice relaxing and clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. However they could have sprayed more frequently for the mosquitoes, and do something to maintain the ant problem in the rooms. Also, they waited until check out to advise the $30 shuttle fee which could have been told during booking. Not a fan of fees.

The overload of mosquitoes and ants!!! When I say overload! I mean exactly that. The whole island is flooded with mosquitoes. Make sure you pack some type of mosquito repellent off spray. You will regret it if you don’t. (San Padro)

I loved the overall vibe of the place. It had a nice swimming pool and hot tub with ocean view. Hammocks by the beach front property and more than enough chairs to sit pool side. I honestly don't have any complaints at all about this entire experience. I would book with this place once again, hands down! Balcony with a view of the pools and ocean, it was absolutely amazing. I will forever remember this place, it literally boosted our experience even more.

IF I had to absolutely jot something down on the negative column I would say that the location is a little distant from the main area. It was maybe a 15 min drive via golf cart but there are things to see along the way, it was a nice stroll back to the hotel to be honest. So there is no real negative here at Coco Beach Resort.

This is a beautiful resort that has full accommodations and an outstanding staff who are there to make your stay memorable. The pool is amazing. The pool bar is a welcome break from the heat. The restaurant on-site is first class.

Unfortunately, the resort location is not near downtown San Pedro and its shopping and restaurants. Golf carts are the main mode of transportation to downtown, which can be a little hectic and chaotic.

The resort is absolutely beautiful with a stunning out look over the ocean and most of the common being located around the pool area which is massive. There are numerous sections to the pool to cater for different needs. The highlight for us was the undercover heated section around the swim up bar which was perfect for happy hour in the rain. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are prompt at dealing with any situation. We had a look around at some other resorts and felt that Coco Beach (although a fair way out of town), is by far the most beautiful.

The resort is 20 minutes out of San Pedro on a golf cart, but we actually enjoyed being slightly away from the hustle and bustle. It was a pleasant and fun trip into town, so the distance didn't deter us at all. While our bed was very comfortable, our son's pull-out bed was unusable with a metal bar down the middle. Perhaps for a smaller child it would have been suitable. Midway through our first night, he pulled the mattress onto the floor, but it was so worn and thin that he was still uncomfortable.

The staff is the best part of this property! We have been coming to Coco Beach Resort for 4 years. We bring our family and friends with us every time. I highly recommend this resort to everyone. It’s the staff that keeps us coming back!! My only recommendation is to establish a small gym or hire someone for any type of workouts. I ended up hiring a gentleman that came to the resort to train me everyday as I’m used to working out daily. Either way, The Wilson’s will continue to visit this resort to give the biggest hugs to the loving staff. Kudos to all of them!

Clean pools were inviting and staff was extremely friendly and willing to make your stay a good one. The fine dining restaurant was excellent, but they had very few activities and no hand rails to assisted you up or down stairs not senior friendly .

Everything at Coco Beach is absolutely incredible. They went out of their way to help me get a day trip that was on a special date. Every staff member greated me everyday by name. When you stay here they treat you like family. The pool is awesome! They also never pressured me into doing events at the resort. If I wanted to go into town they didn't look down on that. The beach access is perfect. The property is beautiful. Highly recommend staying here.

Nothing this is place perfect

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and it's very quiet which was surprising since we went on spring break. Definitely will return!

One of the showers in our double shower ensuite bathroom had 1 temperature setting that was burning hot. Luckily the other shower was normal. Other than that, the villa was spotless and very large. We loved it, especially the balcony!

This property is stunning! It is 17 years old and in as good of condition today as it was newly built then! The pool areas are unbelievable! The hot tub is perfect temp and large enough to accommodate many guests. The property was always immaculate! I absolutely can not say enough about how prompt and amazing the staff were to us all week! From the front desk to the bar service it was 10/10. We were a group of 10 and were so well taken care of 24/7! Great location north of town where the sargasm isn’t so bad so the smell is better than closer to town. The sea is still unenjoyable like all of the windward side of Ambergris. However it’s a 20-30 mins golf cart ride to Secret Beach which is gorgeous and very relaxing! There are great food options at the resort (the kids LOVED the pizza) and several right across the street that have great food (Tipsy Lobster was great!). They provided us unlimited 5 gallon refills of filtered water as well as 1 lb bags of ice. Only complaint was when both showers in the master or even both showers in our 2 bath unit were running at once the water was only luke warm at best. But that was easily solved by only one person using the showers at a time! The best part is the bathrooms have ceiling fans and exhaust fans!! So your towels and swim suits are dry overnight unlike any other usual beach environment where things stay damp! Don’t forget your bug spray! You don’t want to terry long in the golf cart parking area as the mosquitos are quite bad in that area. However they do spray regularly at the resort which helps! We will definitely be back and this will be where we recommend anyone to stay while in San Pedro! You won’t be disappointed!
