We had the entire top floor - spacious, quiet, relaxing, HUGE beds, gorgeous view. But the highlight was Jake and him helping to plan our vacation - he knew exactly who to recommend when we told him what we wanted to do. He was spot on. I highly, highly, highly recommend Belize Celebrity Diving for any fishing you want to do (501) 670-0758 [email protected]. We had so much fun we went out twice. He can customize what you want - in reef, out of reef, snorkeling at Hol Chan (for as long as you want not trapped in a tour). Seriously, reach out to him. For food, yes, the bakery others mention is great for grab and go. For sitting down, walk down the beach to Cool Beans for everything homemade and delicous. A little pricer due to homemade standards but so worth it. Fantastic family trip.

The weather was only ok. We just had fun through the weather and we were proof you can still have fun in paradise with less than perfect weather.

Caye Casa really is a slice of paradise! We stayed in unit #8 (2 bedrooms - each with an en suite bathroom) on the 3rd floor for 2 nights. The unit is beautifully decorated, so spacious, and has a gorgeous view of the ocean from the enormous and comfortable outdoor living space! Every amenity you could need is provided. Every detail was thought of - kitchen wares, beach towels, bug spray, books, puzzles, toiletries in the showers - even a 6 pack of cold Belizean beer awaited us in the fridge! Who does that?! 🍺 Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful - eager to provide advice on local beaches and restaurants or arrange taxi pickup upon departure. Jake the owner, is amazing. He was very responsive with quick communication and he made himself available by cell at all times in case of any issues. He gave us a warm welcome and even helped to carry our bags upstairs. In addition to being super comfortable lodgings, the location of Caye Casa is fantastic. There are several great waterfront restaurants right across the street with live music nightly and delicious food. There are also grocery stores and shops a short walk or golf cart ride away. Rent a golf cart! You can zip around anywhere on the island! (I highly recommend William at VIP golf cart rental). If you're looking to dive, there is a dive operation on the dock directly across the street. Overall, you can't go wrong with Caye Casa! It's a wonderful place to stay!

There is nothing I didn't like!

Caye Casa was was a pleasant surprise. The four of us stayed in Room 3 which was a two bedroom two bathroom beachfront room. Full kitchen with a real nice open living room area. Patio was perfect for the four of us to make blender drinks and relax. Very clean and well decorated. Very comfortable beds. Both bathrooms were spacious, with the one bathroom being an ensuite. Bakery, grocery store were within walking distance. Banana bread lady right next door. We took advantage of the full kitchen for breakfast and lunch. Nice little pool right next to the room which we used a few times having a drink before we headed out for the night. We stayed 7 nights. Two extra nights due to Tropical Storm Sara and the airport being closed. The wind being in the right direction we were able to sit on the porch and watch the storm pass us by. The dock right out front was of the property was perfect for looking out over the ocean. They had two chairs to chill on and watch the ocean and the boats go by. Wayo's and Hurricanes directly across from us. Great entertainment. Plenty of restaurant choices within 5 min. walk. Diving/snorkel operators within 5 min. walk. Tour operator next door took us to the Secret Beach beach. A must do tour. 15 min walk to center of downtown San Pedro. Caramba and Anglers are the best two seafood restaurants that I have ever been to. I will stay here again. The room was perfect for 4 people. Highly recommend.

Room service could have been a little more attentive. We stayed for 7 days and had only one change out. Could have been because of the Tropical Storm. Everything was closed down for 2 days. If we asked for anything from the management we were immediately looked after.

Caye Casa was just amazing! The location is perfect, with plenty of beach bars and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met—from booking snorkeling tours when none seemed available, to making restaurant reservations, and giving friendly advice. Caye Casa truly felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood was easily the best in San Pedro; I only ventured into town once during my stay. My trip to Belize wouldn’t have been the same without Jake and Shane’s exceptional hospitality. I will definitely return to Caye Casa!

I had a wonderful stay at Caye Casa. I loved my outdoor veranda and sat outside every day under a wonderful palapa (it kept me dry even when it rained). The staff was so wonderful, checking in on me, providing recommendations and being so attentive. I really appreciated the whole staff. The bed was super comfortable and I also really liked my sitting room.

The only suggestion for improvement would be having a TV in the bedroom (I often like to watch TV right before going to bed). The channels were very limited but there were some options.

The hotel was in the perfect location on the beach surrounded by activities, shops, and many restaurants to choose from, several of them on decks atop the water. Downtown was a 10-minute walk away and we enjoyed visiting and then returning to our hotel along the beach. Our rooms were huge. We had a large balcony overlooking the ocean, ample living and dining rooms, and a full kitchen, as well as two bedrooms and baths. Our fellow travelers gathered in our suite and joined us for meals and visiting. The highlight of the hotel is the staff. They went out of their way to fulfill the smallest of requests such as arranging transportation and tours, recommending restaurants, providing extra blankets, etc. They also volunteered to soak our conch shells in vinegar so we could take them home. All staff members were polite, friendly, respectful, and especially attentive.

There was no dinner service or any food but it wasn't an issue as we had a kitchen and countless dining options from street food to white linen table service. The pool was small but refreshingly cold. The beach had an amazing view but not much for swimming as the water was extremely shallow with sea weeds. The hotel is a bit dated but everything was functional and comfortable.

Great place and great location. Jake, Shane, and the rest of the staff were awesome. They made us feel at home, welcomed us with cold beer, and Jake got us a good deal on a golf cart. Not many places with up close beachfront views like that. Felt like the tropical paradise it is. Sitting at the end of the pier with drinks in hand watching the moonrise and listening to the music next door was a vibe. The bakery was very close (literally right behind the property) and had delicious ham and cheese sandwiches and sausage rolls. Very short walk to town via the beach where we found many great pier restaurants. Rooms were very quiet, even with the live music at the nearby pier. Do yourself a favor. Book here.

Caye Casa is a well-maintained and comfortable collections of rooms which look out at the beautiful shore of Ambergris Caye. The building is set back from the unpaved road that separates it from the dock (the road is not heavily traveled), giving it a more cozy feel than most of the other resorts/inns on the Caye. Jake and Shane were welcoming and helpful and full of useful information about dining and siteseeing locations. We had one of the smaller rooms, but it was perfect for our vacation stay, and the microwave and refridgerator, along with some dishes and utensils, were very useful. Great air conditioning, great shower/sink. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come!

I cannot state anything that we didn't like.

Look no further if you're staying in San Pedro - book here! The accommodations were wonderful - bed comfortable, AC very nice and gold, filtered water available in the room as well as silverware /plates/cups. The staff made us feel at home. Shane and Jake were incredible! They were extremely accommodating and helped us rent a golf cart, schedule snorkeling (way cheaper than we found it elsewhere), and organize shuttles to and from the airport. They were in close contact to make sure our stay was perfect. The location is within walking distance to tons of restaurants and businesses, which gives you great access around the city. Also the rooms were nice and quiet!

We liked everything. Wouldn't change anything.
