We very much enjoyed our four days at Lina Point. David welcomed us as we got settled into our bungalow. The room was perfect for our needs - we had two days of excursions and two days exploring the nearby area. Highlight for me and my partner was the private deck with plunge pool and hammock. Despite temperatures in mid-80s, the roof and breeze kept us very comfortable. David's recommended and affiliated tour guide was a great match. Our daytrip to mainland Belize to visit Altun Ha and then cave tubing at Nohoch Che'en went smoothly. Wonderful experience!!! Foodwise, we enjoyed two meals at on-site "Hooked" - one breakfast and one dinner. I recommend the Belizean Breakfast with fry jacks and Hamburger. Consumed great drinks during the day too at the pool bar. And nice to have coffee each morning provided at the reception area.

The only surprise was bathroom related and disposal of toilet paper. We understood the instructions and became comfortable with the process...it was just a surprise initially.

The location was secluded right on the lagoon. It was unique and a novelty to stay right on the water. The cozy outdoor bar and cafe served great drinks and tasty food.

Certainly no fault of the hotel, but I did not like that I could not swim in the lagoon because of crocodiles in this region of the world. Guests needed to travel a short distance to the sea which is not far from the hotel. Although, one needs transportation to get to the best beaches.

The staff at Lina Point are all very nice, especially David , if you need anything he is more than willing to help, and the cleaning lady is wonderful, Aloya. The location is really pretty, there were water coolers in our room, which I thought was a good idea, we drink a lot of water, so it was very handy.

You definitely need a golf cart to get around, the resort is not close to town, it would be nice to have a chair in the room, and I feel the place could use a maintenance person, the resort is not that old and it could use some sprucing up.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! David was incredibly kind and checked on us throughout our stay. Karen was awesome with anything we needed during our time at Lina Point, helping us book excursions and rent a golf cart. Raymond was the greatest bartender of all time and makes the best mojito. The few meals we had at the resort were all delicious. The location is great, a 5-10 minute golf cart drive from downtown and a 40 minute golf cart drive to Secret Beach. There is a security gate to get into the community, and Lina Point is located at the very end down a pier so it is very quiet and peaceful. My wife and I had an amazing honeymoon in San Pedro thanks to the above-and-beyond staff at Lina Point. I will be recommending this place to everyone. Stay at Lina Point, you won't be disappointed!!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in Ambergris! So happy to find this gem! The property is so beautiful! Pretty close to the center and far from all the noises. Waterfront bungalows are just piece of paradise! Everything you can dream of - full kitchen, super comfy bed, glass floor where you can see all the fishes, private little pool to cool off after wonderful day. Very private, but if you want some socializing - restaurant area is amazing! Stuff is amazing and welcoming and friendly and super helpful! Planning to come back with kids for unbelievable time!

The staff was amazing! I was a solo traveler and my first time there so I was nervous but David helped me with everything! From getting my golf cart all the way to getting me to the airport to get home. The bartenders are fun and had plenty of knowledge about the island on what to go see and where to eat! It was quiet and comfortable!

It was away from the “city” noise and very quiet. The staff were all very friendly and made me feel very welcome! David was more than accommodating! He answered every question we had quickly and efficiently and even drove us to the beach when we needed a taxi. The restaurant they have is AMAZING. I usually have low expectations for hotel restaurant’s because the food is touristy bulk made but OMG the jerk fish with the baked potato and salad was DELICIOUS!!! I had it twice. Their chef needs to be on food network asap. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to be back one day!!!

There is nothing I didn’t like! A couple ideas to be even better in the future: Sell local fruits Sell gifts/souvenirs Have a shuttle to touristy places such as secret beach or stores… we would have paid for all of the above :)

Super cool spot right on the lagoon. It's a little bit outside of the central town area so we rented a golf cart. But they picked us up from the water taxi for free which was helpful. Nice restaurant on site where you can grab free coffee in the mornings. Inside our room was very quiet and peaceful. We slept great here!

Wonderful stay in one of the overwater bungalows which faced west so we had great sunsets too. Loved having our own private little pool and watching the fish through the glass floor! Restaurant was excellent too.

It's a 10 minute walk from any other restaurant or stores. We didn't get a golf cart but you can rent them if you want.

It wasn't dirty just a little dusty. I'm a clean freak, others might be fine with it
