Great modern hotel in excellent location near mall. Friendly informative check in. We were able to get a room next to our children. Rooms were very clean, well serviced and good, firm matresses. Breakfast was good. Staff overall very helpful and friendly.

The hot section at breakfast was a bit heavy on the carb side, more protein would have been welcome. The lack of a ramp to wheel suitcases up - though there was a wheelchair lift for disabled access, for personal reasons I didn't feel it was appropriate to use this. In fairness it's only about 5 - 7 steps from ground to entrance level but if you have to carry a few suitcases it can be a bit of a job.

1. The rooms are spacious and clean. Shower is hot from the first second, the bed is comfortable. 2. Breakfast is great and served at 6 am promptly. All food is “home made/baked”. There is a great variety and they change a few items every morning.

1. One of the elevators didn’t work during my 3-days stay. And one elevator isn’t enough for the amount of guests. 2. There is no warm blanket in the room, just think sofa blankets. I had to ask for the second one because it was cold at night. 3. The gym is tiny and poorly equipped. The swimming pool is also small and cold, although they claimed that it will be warmed up.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is centrally located with access to shops and restaurants nearby. In fact, there's a mall right across the street! The pool are is very relaxing and welcoming. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of variety and was quite delicious as well. For a short stay, it was perfect!

Check-in and check-out was incredibly SLOW. I don't think I've ever experienced any place slower. Maybe they just expected everyone to do everything online? But if you're doing so at the front desk, prepare for a looooong wait. Even with only 2 people in front of me, it took almost an hour!! What could you possibly be "checking in" for that long, idk...

Good hotel for a short stay. Clean room. Comfortable bed. It is close to the shopping mall.

The breakfast was disappointing. There were a lot of food, but it was very very average. The staff should be more responsive. We wanted to get the information about taxis in order to get to the airport, but the reception redirected us to the some kind of travel agency situated in the lobby. Finally when we got the information about the transportation, we were ensured that when we check-out (we informed that it will by at 4 am) it happend that it was impossible to order a taxi. Lucky the uber was working.

JL Hotel Bourbon in Foz do Iguaçu offers an excellent location, right across from a mall, which is convenient for shopping and dining. The area feels very safe, and we appreciated the warm and helpful staff, from the receptionists to the bartenders. They really went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the hotel is well-maintained overall. We were lucky to have a nice view from our room, which added to the experience. The breakfast was a standout feature, with an impressive variety of delicious options—definitely one of the highlights of our stay. While we didn’t get a chance to check out the pool area, it looked inviting. The hotel also offers an on-site travel agent where you can book trips and car rentals, which is a great added convenience, even though we didn’t personally use it. The room itself was very comfortable, with a cozy bed and a fantastic shower. Overall, it was a great experience and exceptional value for money.

Honestly, there wasn’t much to complain about during our stay at JL Hotel Bourbon. Everything from the location to the service, cleanliness, and comfort exceeded expectations. If I had to mention something, it would be that we didn’t use the pool or travel services, so I can’t speak to those features personally, but they seemed well set up.

This is a very high-class establishment. Upon arrival, we were met by the bell boy who immediately helped us with our bags. The staff were very attentive. The rooms are spacious with an enormous & very comfortable bed. The shower has great pressure, and the view from the room (on floor 10) was magnificent. The breakfast was also very varied and very high quality. And it starts from 6amfor anyone who is starting an early tour of the waterfalls in the morning. There is a heated outdoor pool and a 24-hour gym, neither of which we were able to take advantage of on this occasion as we were too busy. Here's a tip, if you can do the Brazil & Argentinian sides of the falls over 2 days, then do, we did both in one day, and while it was incredible, it was an over 12 hour day and very tiring. There is also a great and very large shopping mall right across the street from the hotel that is very much worth a visit.

The only downside was that we didn't spend more time here. Another day would have been ideal. I would even recommend staying 4or 5 days here.

The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel has an excellent location, and there is a great mall just across the street with lots of options for eating and shopping (super convenient - grocery store, pharmacy, etc).

The check in process felt a little slow, but is usually does in Brazil because the hotels have to gather so much information on all the guests and complete documents. We wish it would have taken less than 30 minutes.

Great location. JL Mall is right across the hotel. It's super handy & have a food-court too and lots of coffee shops etc... Breakfast was yummy with plenty of selections. Had a fillet mignon for dinner and it's pretty good. Room is modern and spacious, but mine is facing west re: afternoon sun, but I had a pleasant stay overall.

The check-in guy wrote me down as Americano, even though my Australian passport is clearly written at the front. LOL. It wasn't a busy time ...... so ? who knows. But no big deal.

It was clean and well located. Rooms were neat and spacious. Breakfast was delicious

When arriving with our car we have to hand in our keys so the staff would park it. They didnt let us do it ourself . The problem was when we wanted to go somewhere. It took between 20- 30 min to get our car( it happened several times) and the staff were kinda rude when we were asking were our car was. We were late to the cataratas because of that

The women in charge of the activities booking. She was not professional at all, and she forgot to book our transportation on the day we were supposed to go to the Argentine side. As she found a plan B at the last minute, we had to pay an extra cost. It is unacceptable.
