The staff was super friendly and helpful, the guy with glasses was so kind and helped us from the very start, he speaks so many languages! We could easily leave the luggages at the deposit and start our journey through this wonderful city. The room was super clean and the housekeeping were so nice and fast! We also had a room with view, you could see the Christ! The breakfast changes day by day, and that Is super! Everything was so tasty and fresh! There Is also a self bar at the reception, were you can buy essentials or snack anytime. We Will for sure come back to Rio, and for sure we Will know where to stay. Comfortable Modern clean Hotel. Loved the breakfast. Good value for money. I visited during the Rio Carnival and a few events were around the area where the hotel was located. It was closer to the airport. Bit further away from the beach. BUT uber is very cheap. Cost me £4-5 to get to Ipanema. Neighbourhood doesn’t look that unsafe compared to some of the reviews I had read before going on holiday. Some of the blocos were around the hotel and it was safe. Having said that I took Ubers to the beach everyday as it was very cheap.

Nothing

The room was clean, there was daily roomservice. There were a few times that toiletpaper was finished but they would provided pretty soon with new ones. Front desk speak basic English. The location is about 15-20 mins away from Copacabana, and 30 mins away from ipanema. For beach and nightlife you will always need to use Uber/ taxi In the area there are not a lot of restaurants so you will always need to travel. There is a tram in front and bus nearby but did not use this. No supermarkets nearby. In the end the price quality is very good and I would return.

A little bit the location

The hotel was very quiet, cleaned and well located, closed to the hostoritical sites of Centro and airports (20 min from GIG) and with an awesome view on the Sugarloaf. The team was very friendly, helpful and spoken several languages. I would also like to particularly thank Daniel for his valuable help when I met issues during my trip in Rio.

The staff at B&B Hotel Santos Dumont were exceptional and extremely helpful! Paid breakfast option had a good variety. The hotel is conveniently located a couple minutes away from Santos Dumont airport, public transport options and Centro landmarks. I happened to have a room with an incredible view of Sugarloaf mountain which was beautiful to look out onto on the private patio.

The single room had little space to move around comfortably. The street facing room meant hearing the electric tram announce its stop often.

The staff were very kind and accommodating. The co-working space was great for doing things on my laptop during my stay. The single room I booked was small, but it had everything you needed and there was room at the restaurant and office area to spread out in.

Only bad thing is the location is a bit dangerous at night, so you can't just walk around and find a restaurant. I had to order all my evening meals in, and the apps don't always work that well (e.g. iFood needs you to register with a Brazilian number).

It’s very good lactation with beautiful view from up floor .

First they put us in one room so close to other one we could hear everything of the other room all conversation laugh anything other room was doing we could hear it was horrible !!! It’s was like the people was at the same room as us ! I asked please to change rooms . They did it and finally was very quiet room we could rest .

Although the room was a bit small it was confortable very nice and clean. Overall excellent standard. Breakfast was good for the price, people was really nice The staff in general was incredibly polite and friendly. I would not say the same thing about the manager that was going around without saying not even a bon dia. Overall , I had great experience with the hotel

Maybe the location, I spent to much money moving around in Uber.

Neat spaces, good design, good breakfast, easy access from and to SDU airport. My Deluxe bedroom also had a nice view of Sugarloaf mountain.

My room's windows weren't very clean. I understand there is debris from the street, but I found it to be too dirty. They always changed the bed sheets and cleaned the bathroom area properly though.

Room with balony and view to corcovado on 5th floor. Very clean room. Toilet articles okay and even hair dryer in the room. Good breakfast for 40 Reais. Only a few minutes walk to metro Station Cinelandia. From there easy access to Copacabana and otherr beaches in Rio Sul.

In the night the area is a bit obscour and seems to be unsafe.
