Exceptional location with beautiful views on the city of RJ. It’s two footsteps (literally) from the SDU airport and very convenient for any flights from there. The rooms are modern and functional. Breakfast was very nice and generous.

The view from the rooftop is so beautiful that it is also used for private events. We had an overnight from Saturday to Sunday with an early flight at 6 am and the noise was very annoying already during dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and then at night as well. The windows might be sound proof for planes but not for techno beats.

Too crowded. The breakfast place is on the rooftop, where we experienced a very beautiful view. The foods are good. We felt safe during our stay.

When we arrived at the hotel at night, there was an incident where a fire happened in the restaurant next to the hotel, and the smoke broke into the hotel. One of the hotel receptionists didn't allow us to check in and asked us to wait without knowing what time the situation would be back to normal. My girlfriend and I had to wait for a long while until we thought about finding another hotel to live in that night, then I went to the reception again and asked another receptionist, and she asked me to show my booking. Then, she informed me that our room was on the third floor, which had no impact from the smoke from the nearby restaurant at all. She allowed us to check in immediately. I recommend that some receptionists should be trained more to handle any unexpected events.

The view from the terrace is awesome, really a gift. The pool is comfortable and the calling system for the waiters works well. The staff is well trained and very cooperative. The accommodation is good for a short stay and the location favours your movement as it is very close to downtown and to the south zone of the city where most of attractions are located.

The parking lot was not very well flagged and it may be difficult to find out to whom make a call in case of any need. The breakfast is good but it could be better although the restaurant has a nice view of the Bay and Sugar loaf.

This was an interesting hotel. It is a located within walking distance of the terminal building of Santos Dumont Airport, so if you arrive there you can be checked in shortly after landing. Despite this, there was no issue with aircraft noise. The hotel is right by the tramway to the city centre, which connects to the Santa Teresa tram terminus. Going the other way, it is a 12km Uber ride to Ipanama beach. There is also a small shopping mall adjacent to the hotel, which has several dining options. The rooftop restaurant has a magnificent view of Flamengo, Urca and the Sugar Loaf Mountain. The hotel itself was very good with clean, comfortable room and helpful staff

The room was spacious and clean, with blackout curtains, a super-comfy bed and fluffy pillows. A nice touch in the room was the fridge to keep water cold and supermarket purchases fresh. The morning breakfast was one of the most beautiful, extensive food displays I have ever seen. There were so many food items on display, I couldn't even begin to list them all. Not to worry, there was something for everyone (although for low-carbers, this was a bit iffy)! For those with early flights, the buffet opens at 4am, so no worries there. For those than have a bit more leisure time, one can sit on the outside terrace and watch the sun rise, the planes take off or just indulge while watching Rio start a band new day. Watch out for the hungry birds!

Although my room was marked as “view at the sea” this is not the case because the trees are impeding the view meaning that it makes no sense to pay more for something you will not get. This with rates that are exaggerated already. Although we arrived after 18:00 our room was not ready which makes no sense as it was well after the allowable check in. Had to pay 110 reais to leave my car at the parking lot which is absurd.

Lovely bed and shower. Nice pool and restaurant for breakfast & evening meal. Good location to visit historic city and walking distance from MAM. Great views from roof.

Standard room is internal room with internal window to shopping mall. We had to try 3 rooms before we found TV that had none faulty display. See photo. This is 3 rd stay in 2 weeks and same issue before! The TV also has poor Smart TV link and randomly came on in the night!! Issue reported to staff. The receptionist Daniela was very helpful.

Great location set in shopping mall of airport so within minutes walk of check in desk. Great view from the roof top of Sugarloaf mountain and nice pool. The room was clean with comfortable bed, good air conditioning and shower. As a standard room the window had an internal view onto the mall.

The breakfast had limited selection for class of hotel. In the room the TV was faulty and poor screen display. We decided not needed but reported it in the morning.

Short walk from airport. Early breakfast start for those with early flights. V good breakfast. Evening meal on the roof overlooking the bay nice and relaxing. Good value for money. Recommend for stay in Rio. Will use again on next visit

Make sure they log your email address correctly otherwise ordering on the roof top restaurant difficult, as QR code based. Switched on main lights in morning and fuse went, then TV didnt work. So minor irratents - dont let these put you off staying at a very good hotel.

Excellent location next to the airport, great value for money breakfast from 4am amazing sea views and landmark views for 700 BRL a night, could have been 50% less if booked in advance. Hotel is very much new or recently renovated best value for money in Rio that I know of. Stunning rooftop restaurant where dinner, lunch and breakfast are served (Orla) with beautiful birds like grey-and-green monk parakeets, sparrows and doves visiting the Rooftop without disturbing anyone in a wonderful scenery early in the morning at 5am. 24 room hour room service at decent prices, 24/7 front desk.

Details like a dripping AC in the middle of the room. Also room service has zero red wine options. You can buy at the hotel Rooftop restaurant, but after 10pm they are closed, so no way other than buying it at the airport at exorbitant prices or ordering in at delivery apps from Brazil which require speaking Portuguese for a frictionless experience
