The hotel is located in an area undergoing redevelopment but the hotel is very safe and secure with staff on duty 24/7. The room was big enough for two people and the entire hotel was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower offered plenty of hot water with a good flow, The breakfast is good enough to get you out the door. They offered eggs and sausages as will as the standard continental breakfast items. The staff is great and very helpful. They clean the rooms daily which is unheard of in these days and times. There are plenty of food and drinking options on every block. The area is very safe with plenty of people walking around at night and there was a very strong police presence on every corner.

It can't be helped by the hotel, but the area is under redevelopment so there is lots of construction going on. The area is very safe and well lighted.

I have stayed in countless hotels for work and leisure travel, both excellent and completely unclassy. I still don't remember any of them where all the things I value - location/services/cleanliness/breakfast/staff - were as good as this hotel. That's why Calstar gets a full 5 points from me on all of these. And thanks to the location on a small street, even the silence in my hotel room was surprising, considering it's located in the center of Sao Paulo.

Breakfast was absolutley great, lots of choices: fruits, eggs, cakes, etc. The room was okay as we didn't spend much time in the hotel, it has everything you needed for a few days of stay. The location was also fine, quite close to the metro lines, and also good places to eat out in the neighbourhood. There is a rooftop terrace which we really enjoyed! Staff was very kind as well.

You cannot really open the curtains because the others can see from outside from the opposite buildings. It's interior is rather retro than modern, but it's fine for this price and if your expectations are not too high.

There is a lot of variety at breakfast and very nice options. The room was spotless. The location is well-connected.

The location seems dangerous at night, at least one of the streets that connect to the hotel. The room was small, you could hardly move around it.

Excellent breakfast as always! The bitteraba, gingibre e couve juice was especially good!

I just wanted to have a room to sleep in - at the price the room was excellent and quiet, but you should know that at lower prices the rooms do not have any view - Still, it is excellent value for money because of the cleanliness, friendly staff, good breakfast, it is worth it.

Well located , many restaurants and shops around. Efficient check-in and comfortable clean rooms. Good breakfast.

Always a good café da manhã. Friendly and helpful staff, good security. The cheaper room is good value for money but is not very pleasant. It has no views and looks down the ablution shaft. Next time I will pay a bit more for a better room.

Quiet, really clean, well located (just need to be careful on the streets), good breakfast and gentle staff.

Some rooms might not have windows. It can be a little claustrophobic, if that's not a problem for you, you're fine.

The hotel has an excellent location, close to the central area and the metro station which makes it easier to move in the city. The accomodations are excelent and the prices are fare. I would like to stay there in a future travel.
