I was in a apt that in the living room has no AC. It’s necessary or at least a fan. And it is also needed a small smoke extractor.

I had problems with the internet, could not connect.

Not set up well for remote work. Had to prove my identity to security almost every time I entered. Neighborhood is rough at night

Communication with the host the worst very unfriendly and after take your money no communication at all towers smell after the first shower WiFi did not work so no TV dirty stove stain on the sheets the apartment doesn’t look nothing like in the picture roaches

We were forced to switch to a different condo right before we arrived. The internet did not work at all at the condo we stayed at. The internet worked fine for the TV but not on our devices. We could not use Internet for our Phones, Computer or Tablet. We contacted Charlie, they told us to look for the Internet Box and disconnect it and reconnect it but there was no Internet Box in the condo. We messaged Charlie again and they said they would send a Technician to the condo two times and no one came. They didn't even bother doing a follow with us to ask if a Technician came or if the Internet was working. We literally messaged Charlie for 8 hours straight. Everytime we sent Charlie a message, we had to re-enter in our information and go over the issue many times. We only had one minute to reply each time or the messenger would automatically restart. The customer service is trash and Charlie does not care for their customers.

There was a bed

The apartment was not really clean. Hairs in the bathroom. I booked the apartment an hour in advance. I arrived and had to wait 90 minutes outside before i was allowed to go inside after some document checks. Luckily i had someone with me that spoke portuguese. Otherwise i would have been lost. Contact with difficult with Charlie. It didnt accept my foreign number on whatsapp. Thorugh my friend we got basic info. There is a basic chatbot that only allows a couple of questions. There was no internet available, altough advertised. After a non-relevant session finally got a person through whatsapp. She promised to follow up on it, but this was never done. There is a shop downstairs where you have to download an app to buy things. The app did not allow a number with my countrycode, so was not able to get anything. Left a day early in the end. Felt like moving on. In the end the pricepoint is kinda fair i guess, but it wasnt what i was hoping for.

The place is clean

The room is very small based on the rate that was charged for a family. This type of room is for one person. There is no space to put your luggage, the bathroom is very very small and very old stuff. There is Iron and to use the washing machine is very complicated especially if you cannot read or speak Portuguese. No one speak English at the building. Check in 3pm and check out 11am, that is a cheat, you check in 3pm and that means half day is already gone and they have charged you a full day. 11am they start knocking your door. Security wise is good but value for money is bad. I will rather book a hotel. Before you book such apartment, ask them to send you a video of the room, because the pictures posted are been edited by Photoshop.
